Interesting thread.

People IMO shouldn't seek pleasure in things outside themselves, but be content in what they have. Find importance in the little things in life and see everything and everyone as a gift. To seek out pleasure outside of yourself, will always leave you wanting...Once you see all things/people as a gift, then you can share more freely...

As for crying, it's only natural to cry. We need to grieve, mourn, learn, but to also move on...

Other scriptures say:

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart is a good medicine; but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Prov. 15:13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face; but an aching heart breaks the spirit.

Prov. 15:15 All the days of the afflicted are wretched, but one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.

I find a merry heart much more healing. Also medical studies have shown this to be true.........So, it's not a great idea to dwell on sorrows for too long. It also causes sickness and disease. smile
