As the days passed The X-men grew stronger from their losses and all became one big happy group once more. Wolverine still had some guilt for what he had done though but he realised it was for the best. Storm was running the mansion and doing a good job of it. Beast would drop by now and then to teach classes and nightcrawler would come by as well. For the most part they were living normal lives again or at least as normal as it can get for a mutant.

Spiderman was swinging around the city and still taking care of crime while taking care of MJ as well. He had gone through alot he had met a lot of interesting people and fought alot of different enemies. Right now he was having problems with another camera man name Edward Brock. He was interviewing a famous psychotic called Sin eater.


Kitty walked outside to where the graves were. She was walking towards the proffesor's grave but when she walked over Jean's she felt her feet become incredibly hot. She ignored at first and walked to the Proffesor's where it was perfectly normal. Soon the heat began to spread and the grass became black. The entire ground caught fire she phased through it and ran to the mansion to tell someone. She came up to Storm and told her but when she ran outside there was just a giant crater where the bodies were.

After the strange phenomenon the X-men all stayed silent they all knew what had happened and wolverine was the most worried of all. He sat in his room for days on end doing nothing but sitting there. Storm soon got a call from Moira MacTaggert she said that it was urgent and to send a few X-men over to check out the situation. They decided to get two people to go Storm and Nightcrawler. Beast was to look after the school in their abscense. By the next day odd things were happening. Spaceships had supposedly been sighted all reports describing them exactly the same. The reports were becoming more frequent as the days went by and Storm hadn't returned yet. The X-men were watching the television where it was filming the attacks airplanes, jets, and everything else in the sky was being blown away.
The attacker had yet to reveal himself and no one had a clue of who he was.

Peter Parker and Mary Jane were having a hard enough time already and with the attacks it wasnt any easier. A spaceship that had been sent out a long time ago was returning. As it arrived it was shot down and crashed into the area Peter was located so he went to make sure there was no civilians trapped. When he cam he saw a long trail from where it had skidded. He went inside to get the pilots and on his way out slipped on something black and oozy most likely fuel or oil. He didnt notice but it was stuck on. He put down the two pilots and made his way back home. On the way home he got an odd feeling in his leg almost as though it was being crushed he let out a yell of pain and the sensation grew throughout his body till he was covered in the dark ooze. "What is this?" he asked himself out loud. He saw several cop cars passing by. "Time to see what this stuff can do!" He yelled he swung ten times faster then before and his sense were increased once he reached the crime scene the cops stopped him. "Your going up there you best be on your guard son, You may be Spider-man but this guy is psychotic," The police chief said. "Don't worry psychotics are my specialty!" he said. He ran into the old beaten down apartment and his suit sensed where the danger was coming from something spiderman never could do. It controlled him and made him leap through several floors till he met face to face with Cletus Kassidy. He pulled out a grenade and rolled it to spider-mans feet, it exploded and caused the suit extreme pain. "Ah what's happening!" he yelled out. The suit began to slide off of him. He could feel his strength regaining and he jumped punching cletud in the face and knocking him out. When he awoke he was in the room and cuffed up to a chair while cops were talking. Outside Eddie Brock was trying to get a story for the new news team he was working for it was a low class news team he had been fired from the daily bugle since his story on sin eater was bogus. The cops wouldnt give him anything so he walked away he sat down in an ally where something crept through the shadows it grasped his arm and pulled him in he could feel the darkness consuming him and he became Venom. He bursted out from the side of the ally and cut down cops slashing his way to the building. He came to the cop who denied him answers and picked him up. "Next time I want answers you'll give me answers to bad for you there wont be a next time!" he yelled as he snapped the cop in two. He bursted through the door and made his way upstairs. Cletus was yelling with madness. He looked onto the ground and saw a red puddle. "Blood," he laughed he scooped it up with his hand and poured it on his head laughing. Venom came to the room where Cletus Spider-man and the rest were. The cops began shooting but it didnt affect him he shot them back killing the cops. Spiderman jumped at him but was smacked away with little effort he went flying through the wall and landed on the street ground. He came up to Cletus and picked him up by the shirt. "Bye, bye Kassidy, I hope you burn in hell!" he shouted tossing him out the window with all of his might. He began to blend with the environment and exited the abandoned house to find a less occupided space.

Spider-man awoke and rubbed his head there was a bump and he thought he had broken his leg. He dragged himself over to the building side where he set his bruised and bloody body against the wall. He felt blood trickling down his nose. He put his finger up to stop it and realised his mask had been ripped. He spun around and looked over at the broken hole left in the building the front of his mask was hanging off of it. He looked around to find something to cover up his face and he saw Cletus lying on the ground. "He's dead......even Kassidy doesnt deserve that fate," he said looking at him. Kassady's eyes shot up and a wicked grin came upon his face. His head twisted looking at Peter. "But, Kassady you should be dead you fell at least two stories!" Peter yelled. Kassady leaned up and cracked his neck. "Well I guess I do have a tiny cut." he laughed. Suddenly a red growth on his back began to spread till it covered him. "Ah, I feel invincible!" he shouted. "Spider-man today is your lucky day I've decided not to rip out your spine and suck the marrow from your bones instead I'll just make you suffer toy with you...on second thought death might be better for you!" He laughed maniacly. He picked himself up and slowly approached spider-man. "How c-can there be more then one of you?" he asked. "Does it really matter one way or another your death will come soon enough." "Well, you'll get what you deserve as you burn in hell, Cletus-" "It's no longer Cletus I now go by the name of Carnage!" He shouted. A tendril came out of his back making its way to spider-man as a snake stalking its prey. It stabbed him in his right kidney. Then it came out and cut him across the cheek. The building above was catching fire and while Cletus wished to proceed the symbiote new it was time to leave. Voices traveled through cletus's head. "Yes....must go now!" he yelled. He ran off into the dark streets. Spider-man was in trouble the old building was falling apart it wasnt made strong enough to hold up against the fire. The sky was beginning to fill with clouds and rain fell down on the fire it wasnt doing to much and the edge of the building was falling off. It fell and was about to meet spider-man but Spidey had little to no strength left. It tumbled down, while all peter could do was watch. He tilted his head down and waited for the half a second till it would hit. He heard it crush right above his head and he looked up to see Logan. He retracted his claws and grinned. "Hey, bub."
