I know that this is slightly immoral but I need some help. I have required summer reading to do. I've read the books, but then I have to fill out some index cards about the book. I've read the books. I understand the books. But the thought of doing the stupid cards makes my stomach contract. The only reason they make us do these things is to make sure we read it and even then they only check to make sure we did the notecards. So I need some help.
I need this of the books 1984 and Wuthering Heights:

1. Major conflicts
2. Main characters and the major choices they make
3. Brief plot summary (50-75 words)
4. Quotation from the book which student feels best reflects the book's theme

There's some other stuff, too but I need to do that by myself. It's the stuff about personal respones and stuff.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!

Oh, hell.

That sucks. Never read those books, sorry. sad

Out on the wiley, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green.
You had a temper like my jealousy:
Too hot, too greedy.
How could you leave me,
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you. I loved you, too.

Bad dreams in the night.
They told me I was going to lose the fight,
Leave behind my wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights.

Heathcliff, it's me Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Heathcliff, it's me Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Ooh, it gets dark! It gets lonely,
On the other side from you.
I pine a lot. I find the lot
Falls through without you.
I'm coming back, love.
Cruel Heathcliff, my one dream,
My only master.

Too long I roam in the night.
I'm coming back to his side, to put it right.
I'm coming home to wuthering, wuthering,
Wuthering Heights,

Heathcliff, it's me Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Heathcliff, it's me Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window.

Ooh! Let me have it.
Let me grab your soul away.
Ooh! Let me have it.
Let me grab your soul away.
You know it's me Cathy!

Heathcliff, it's me Cathy.
Come home. I'm so cold!
Let me in-a-your window. " - Kate Bush`s uthering Heights based on the novel.
I did something on Wuthering Height once it was not an analycis but something though. I wondre if it is still up in the mess in the attic somewhere, I have a look. Dont get your hopes up though

Bad Boy
Damn, that song is awful!

Seeing I'm a nice boy, go on www.google.com and type in Wuthering Heights+Chapter Analysis. On one of the sites you'll find detailed stuff on each chapters' events and then an analysis on them.

I have sympathy for you. I did this book last year and I hated it!

Gundark
Gee. Bad Boy isn't so bad. Never actually read them Lauren. Sorry.

Looks like a job for Ush. I believe he's in the phone booth, changing as we speak.

yerssot
People who don't want a mental image *looks at Lauren*, stay away from the phone booth!

Gundark
He's too fast for the eye to follow !

yerssot

I'm sorry, I haven't read 1984 in about 11 years. If I gave you the most amazingly simple of rbeakdowns would that be more than you know now, Lauren?

LaurenE147
probably. the teachers usually don't even read them.

wuthering heights is quite a good back actually. just concentrate on all the imagery thats in it, the bleak moors, the harsh weather, heathcliff representing the environment he was brought up in. the fact that power doesn't make him happy. sam old sam old. sorry it has been about 4 years since i last read it and i've drunk away a lort of brain cells in those years. tip: don't watch the films first, i don't think they were very accurate.

LaurenE147
I've never seen the movies. Wuthering Heights isn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be.
