i used very basic tutorials from pixel2life, i'll move onto harder ones.

It's not bad, I'm a beginner PhotoShop 7-er as well. There are some great sig tutorials on Pixel2life, just search "sig".

WOW, love the Mario one

I've noticed that some of the text is sometimes quite hard to read, if you add a stroke and a colour overlay, it's a simple way of making it stand out on any background.

Other than that... good job.
