I'm a little pissed off right now with new threads being opened that are purely spoiler based!

In the last few months quite a few comic moments have been ruined for me because of people starting these spoiler threads.

Examples of events that were ruined for me:

Wonder Woman killing Maxwell Lord

Mimic dying in Exiles (though i'm fairly sure he'll be back)

Cyclops 'death' in X3

Spider-Man 'outing' himself to the public

etc, etc......

Personally i hate finding this stuff out in advance and not everyone gets access to these stories at the same time.... what's the point of reading these comics if you already know what's going to happen???

Most spoiler threads contain the word spoiler(s) in the title.... but some others just post the spoiler as the thread title "Spidey reveals himself to public " - http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f95/t408522.html

Quit spamming the forums with spoiler threads that a lot of people don't want to see.... you can't unread what you've already read

Digi - if you agree with this idea then stick a Note on this

spoilers dont really hurt a comic or show or movie or anything for me

in superman returns superman will beat lex luthor by the end of the movie

Spoilers in the thread titles is the only thing I'll agree with you on though.

i just read yours now i know about cyclops thanks alot

could have warned us like put in spoilers

i avoided the whole spidey reveal for a whole week.

constantly avoiding any thread where civil war was mentioned. just to have it ruined by some idiot at newsarama who doesn't know how to put a spoiler warning in their topic title.

Not sure what kind of note you're referring to, but I completely agree. Nice idea Scoob. I deleted the Spidey thread, and usually inform people that start spoiler threads of proper etiquette for them (like putting "Spoiler" in the title rather than just saying what happens).

As it is, normally I don't mind, but I was a little miffed about the Spidey thing....I wanted to be left in suspense until I could read it.

Considering i haven even bough them yet. and they have have to do with Civil war. yeah.

That's what i'm really getting at, i don't care about spoiler threads so much if it says "SPOILER" in the thread title without giving anything away... then i can just avoid it, but when the thread title itself is the spoiler there's no way to avoid it

I really dont see whats all the drama. The Civil War thread is to discuss what happens in the storyline. Some people dont get all the comics, some like myself cant wait to learn what happens and besides they dont just post the spoilers, they post the complete comic, they are sharing with everyone. I get my comic books every Friday afternoon but there are times that im so busy at work that i end up skipping a week and for me what better way to get my comics fix than just coming in here and reading the next chapter.

I only buy mine once a month (at the most) whenver i'm on here i try to avoid reading spoilers.... so i'm not sure why i even came back into this thread...
