Yes, I hate those threads mostly because you don't need "the'...' thread" or "the official "..." thread". Just type in the phrase as the title what's the point in calling things 'official' or making them THE thread for things like that. It makes no difference it just annoys me, and no, that's not a good enough excuse to keep doing it.

Some people actually like good grammar though. I sense a difference in you, or a lack of ability to know how to use it, either one.
