It involved a lot of PIS, characters not fighting to the best of their abilities, and the fights with Collector and Galactus were non-fights.

This all happened while Wolverine had bone-claws, too.

To be fair, Wolverine didn't actually fight The Collector or Gallactus.

He just escaped Collector. Sort of. And more or less Wolverine has a fight with Galactus's generator.

Wolvie's claws broke on the generator and he admitted to himself that he was the wrong man for the job.

Take those two off the list and it doesn't look as bad. Well... it is still bad, but not AS BAD .

i just wanted to say that iv noticed through out my time here that some people dont like chars that some people realy like so the people that dont like them come in saying stuff to make fun of him or what not then the people who do like him take offence and then they fight and the person that likes him starts to even say stuff that my not be logical in some cases then the others take advantage of that

i think most of the fighting would stop if the people that dont like those chars dont make fun and just decide if they will win or lose and then support your argument with more then the reasion of likeing/not likeing that char

a lot of people have it in their heads that wolverine can and can't do a lot of things.. because they have a unnatural view on the character that's not supported by evidence.. then you've got wolverine fan's who realize exactly what the character's capible of doing based on more consistent showings.. then the people who don't know or don't like wolverine start calling the fans fanboys.. whether the fans have arguments to support their facts or not..

like here: do I not always support myself with evidence?

just cause people don't like it I suppose they deem theselves fit to mocsaid fans based on their own bias perceptions.. and that's the frusturating aspect.. there's no need to take our your own shortsidedness with a particular character out on the fans that support the character.. it's not only illogical it's rude.

I don't think wolverine can beat everybody, and the fact is I don't support a win for wolverine in a TON of fights where it's clear he won't win... what I end up arguing is against people's limited knowledge of the character who didctate that he can't do something he's proven over and over again that he could.. but people see that has arguing for a win for the character because they're not actually paying attention to the points being made.. and then the mocking comes. it's ridiculous.

i dident say u didnt back up what your saying(as a matter fact this was not directed towards any one inperticular). She wouldn't fight to the best of her ability, would be easily distacted and wouldn't realize the numerous advantages she has over Wolverine in just speed and strength.

i support a character that people have more problems with than any other though PIS is evident in ALL comic characters.. and yes even to the degree that wolverine is, people only choose to bicker more about wolverine than other characters because they don't like him.. Consistency of Wolverine but not always of the character Wolverine faces.................thats where the PIS comes from. Not the fact that Wolverine has a great feat, its that when its a low showing for another character the Wolverine feat is supposed to be something to live by, not so much.

Classic example is Cyclops, he has shown over and over again his blasts are concussive and have a "throw back." He has used this on Wolverine to throw him back as well as other characters, a fairly typical showing of Cyclops. Along comes a Wolverine showing where he stands and takes a full shot of Cyclops blasts. Is that a typical Cyclops showing, no. However now its to be said Wolverine can take a full blast from Cyclops becuase of a crap low showing? No of course not, thats where the forum calls in PIS. Like it, love it, hate it whatever if you choose to constantly highlight "high" showings of one and "low" showings of another to illustrate, thats not logic and hence the fanboy title.

One of the funniest covers for comics.

Funny as that cover is, the fight with Galactus was not that bad.

As for the rest of the gauntlet, that's a different story.
