I don't think alcohol is actually worth it because for the money it costs, you get hardly anything out of it besides a decline in awareness, possibly regurgitation and a likely hangover. That said, it's not the alcohol's fault.

People out there do like it and do drink it responsibly, so if you personally can't, you shouldn't. Just my two or three.

As for sex, it's different for different people. Both genders can be shit, but mostly this is due to lack of effort and lack of will to communicate. Most women and men who are bad in bed, can become better with work.

That's exactly it, those people who claim alcohol is responsible for their actions are the ones who shouldnt be drinking to start with.

I drink because Im grown and enjoy it. I can afford it and I know how to control myself.

I have a mini fridge in my room, all that's in it is water, and it comes in really handy sober or drunk

People who get shit-faced for no reason have underlying problems I'm assuming they aren't aware of. And drinking alone imo is just sad.

And yea, I think blaming your actions on any type of drug or alcohol is a cowardly way out and you shouldn't be allowed to enjoy say alcohol if you can't take it.

I hate nothing more than people who ruin your good time by preaching their beliefs on the hazards of alcohol and or drugs while they go out with you. And what's more is I hate hypocrites, if you're vehemently against drugs, you should be against all drugs. Including antibiotics, anti-depressants, allergy meds etc. It's not a pick and choose.

and as for hang-overs, for me, i always order a glass of water, with my drink. Which in my opinion, is why i've never gotten one.

I drink when I'm thirsty, or when I actually want to randomly have a drink. The crucial part of this is that the drink tastes good, and I hate the taste of most alcoholic drinks.

i have had plenty of first hand experience with friends who let drugs into their lives its not pleasant, my friends and i tried to intervene but she wouldnt give in, shes totally changed now, totally

Oh no no, I didn't mean you, excuse me, I'm just saying in general. People who preach piss me off.

I have friends who use drugs, I don't interfere unless it's hurting me like smoking as the example. But I'm there if they need company afterwards, a ride, a place to sleep, something to eat, they're welcome in my home.

I haven't really entered that world, where my friends need my aid when they get hammered. Most of my friends think that's silly, as do I, the whole 'party' scene.

But in the event that my friends do get plastered, I try to help that out as much as possible.

When my husband and I were still together and he was in the Army... we used to have the other PVT's CPL's over on the weekends and they would bring food and drink and Nintendo and Playstation.... so you get the idea there.... just a place they can chill will us... we had our own apartment. They lived in the barracks... I didnt mind and in fact enjoyed having the guys over. I had one rule though.... If you plan on drinking... I get the keys and they belong to me until morning or you are sober. Everyone was cool with it....except this one time....

this PVT came over...knew the rule... my husband told him upfront and he handed them to me so they went with the rest of the keys... away where only I knew of them. He got wasted, could barely walk and was in no way sober enough to drive. He asked me for his keys... begged... got mad at me. He went to my husband thinking he would tell on me and I would be made to give them back to him.... My husband told him then.... 'No, you were told... she has your keys and you dont get them until morning. Period.'.... he whines and wanted to go home so badly.... so we gave him a bike to ride the 3 miles back to the barracks...so he left on bike....

the military police still pulled him and gave him a ticket for being drunk and swerving on the bike.
