What's the most important thing in your life? Why?

Ok, so for me it's my wife and kid.

After the NFL and chicken wings, I'd say these things:

Friends
Family(wife/husband/children)
Romantic Partner
House
Car
House & Car
Mental and Physical Health
Job
Entertainment
Myself

money

everything else falls into place when you have an abundance of it.

Life sure is easier if you have enough money, but it's not good to concentrate on money alone, or to be obsessed about it, because then your life becomes a chase after emptiness.

I believe that if your soul is full of love and gratitude, material abundance will follow naturally.

If emotions and general sense of well-being are included in 'Mental and Physical Health', then that's the obvious one. If you're content and fit, then all the rest will fall like rainbows in the friscolating dusk-light.

Well, the VW is value for money if you're on a tight budget like me, but I would've liked an American classic convertable if I had the money.

but thats just it. people who have money can put food on the table and pay the rent/mortage. they can spend time in their lives not worrying about how they're going to survive and THEN they can focus on escaping emptiness. when you're broke, you have no time to reflect on what would feed your soul, because your priority is feeding the bill collecters and....your stomach

Actually if you lived in the woods by yourself you wouldn't need money, you kinda need money to be a part of our daily society However you do have a choice there about your lifestyle.

Keeping on topic with what's important in life, I would just like to give a shout out to a local Chicken Wing place called 'Em 'R' Wings, who names their hottest brand of chicken wing sauce after the local nuclear power plant. Now that's good sh*t!!

I have access to food, clean water and roof over my head. I have clothes, (and too many than i need), money in my bank account. I have my mother who loves me and helps me out (although we don't get along always that well). I have all my limbs. I am healthy and able bodied.

Family(wife/husband/children)/Romantic Partner - Always the top of the list for me as the most important part of life (even though I'm not married yet and don't have children.) After all, in the end it is quite possible they will be ones greatest achievement and closest confidants - even with everything else I achieve or have achieved, it would lack light and importance if I had no one to share it with.

Myself/Mental and Physical Health - Not as arrogant as it seems, taking care of one self is important for ones' own happiness, as well as the happiness of the people who are important in ones' life -after all, most things in life are done for a persons own benefit, though they might benefit many others at the same time.

Friends - Not as important as significant others or my own well being. I have never really needed other people for my own happiness, so I could be choosy about my friends, and the ones who made the cut are thus important as they.

Job - One of my forms of expression and my main avenue of leaving my mark on the world, and while money is far from the most important thing, it can be useful. In the end I am pursuing the career that I am because I love that field of work - makes me feel good, and has positive by-products in the end of a good salary.

Entertainment - I love movies. I love the theatre. I love music. Books are a major part of my happiness - my life would be significantly poorer if I was unable to pursue such enjoyable mediums.

House - Pretty important, a mans house is his castle, and can be a form of expression, and while at the moment, until I finish my studies, live in a flat that I will one day leave for something far more permanent and grand it still serves, and still acts suitably as a sanctuary.

Car - I use public transport. No need for a car with a good MTS, and fuel prices as high as they are.

All og those options can go to self so I choose myself

Family is the most important in my life.And also myself...
Especially my job, I am just a samll potato in my current company.But I believe there will be someday I will be someone......

Very true indeed! If you aren't enjoying life, you either aren't living or you're taking things too seriously.

It's interesting to note here that some of you don't see deeming yourself as the most important a selfish action. This is, interestingly enough, quite true, because if one neglects the self, it will be at the stake of neglecting others due to disability.

1) Friends: provide numerous positive additions to life; make you self-reflect, make you put in afford for the benefit of others, help you out when you're in a jam and are just the best people the be with and have fun with.
2) Job/Money: not a noble second pick, but you just gotta have it to survive in a orderly fashion. Not like my aunts are paying my bills.
3) Romantic engagement: not as dependable as friends, but can make you feel more alive than anything, willing to give your best and stuff like that. Can be the cause of extreme agony as well, so there goes your number one ranking babe.

Friends, cause withought them I'd be lazy and on the computer all summer...plus they're fun to be with and they encourage me to just be myself.

also good mental and physical health.

I'd say job, but working at Walmart isnt very nice...

If a person can find adventure, entertainment and contentment in every part of their life then they will find pleasure in most things on the list.

This changse in my head frequently but currently the most important thing to me would be the Romantic Partner since that's what it fits closest under. I honestly don't know where I'd be right now without her.

Which sounds a bit cheesy, I know, but I'm not referring solely to a romantic love(of which I'm not even involved in at the moment). It also includes the love I hold for my friends and family, as well as their love for me.
