The Pittman vs. Kai Lein vs. Barker

Judge: A.D.

Render: Here we go

Criteria:
Demension Requirements: Must be less than 500 x 300 and greater than 400 x 150.
Size requirements: Must be less than 130 kb

Transparency must be used, as well as some type of animation fitting to the scheme of your sig. I have given you a lot to work with, so use your imagination to the fullest.

Bonus: Color Change of Render as well as a background that compliments that color change. Use of a Border.

Deadline: 168 Hours or 10:20 am (CDT) July 6th. That is one week folks, take your time with this one, and create something that really shows your hard work and creativity.


Good Luck to each of you, and I am looking to be impressed. You are all great sig makers...now it is time to prove it !

I usually preview it over the Internet, then adjust the Number of colors..

Well it would appear that this is really going to be a challenge.

In imageready make click the Optimized tab at the top of the image

Then open the Optimize window in your windows menu.

You can change the number of colors there. You can also change the lossy to give you a lower file size as well but it also lowers your quality horribly so I wouldn't raise it too much. Then make sure to Save Optimized As...

I found your sig very simplistic. You showed good use of creating a background and transparency as well as adding a little animation to it ( although it feels a bit unrelated to the overall picture ) and changing the color of the render, but other than that, I see no real thought put into it.

Good use of background as well as transparency. I liked the added animation, though there are a few frames that are a little choppy.
I did not like at all the color change of the Render, especially since the image in the background you did not change.




I was quite surprised from both of you to see an entry on the same day that this duel was created, for I had given you each a week to come up with something stellar, and in return you both whipped something together in a couple of hours.


I have decided to call this duel a tie, for I simply cannot choose a winner.
