Does anyone have any solutions to remedy a sore throat? My throat hurts reaaaaaally bad

I may be out there when I say this but um.......Cough Drop/Syrup.

is it comprehensible.....

Drink some Lemonade, and eat some really Salty Fries.

I don't have any coughdrops here, I'm on vacation, and I'm on my dad's laptop

I had a sore throat yesterday, and I tried gargling some Listerine. It worked.

One usually gargles Salt water after loosing a tooth as well. I've never gargled salt water for a sore throat though.

It works.. if only for a short time..

you have to make sure that the salt level is quite high though.. because the salt draws out fluid from the inflammation.. which is the cause of the pain..
