Ok, you know when Jack comes back and shoot he gunpowder for elizabeth, and there's that GORGEOUS shot of him with the gun, and it zooms right in on his face??

sorry, i don't know where u can find that shot...in general im just not too good at that comp. stuff...like, what the heck does hi-res mean? anyway, i particularly liked the shot of him when Liz was looking 4 the treasure and the compass points to him instead! he's so perfect! and the shot with the gunpowder was great too!

How did you get that?

hi-res means high-resolution. for example, you know when you have a small picture and you expand it and it gets all blurry because the pixels are weird? hi-res is a good quality pic so it doesn't look like that. like crystal clear. and johnny looked hot throughout the whole movie!! any pic is good.

as for evilm0nki3 - that's the very one, you're a star!! i melted in my seat when i saw that in the cinema - i mean, i'd already seen it on some clips and stuff - but seeing it on the big screen, wow!!

sometimes dvds spoil films because they're just NOT as good!!

I think movies on dvd are just as goo when you go to see them in the the cinema, obviously, just on a smaller screen. and you can watch it when ever you want, even when it's not playing in the cinema.

im not saying i don't like dvds - they rule my world .... i'd die without them, just that for some films (eg king kong) they're not the same if you watch them at home, cos the whole point of king kong is that there's this big monkey ape thing, and if you go home at watch it on your telly, then even if youve got surround sound and a plasma screen, it's just not as big.
but dont get me wrong - im all for DVDs!!!!!!!

i would suffer and THEN die. and on the dvd's they have extra stuff that isn't in theaters. my personal fav dvd extra: BLOOPER REELS.

but the blooper reel from the potc1 dvd wasn't that good. it was CHEESY

I liked how they made the ships like cars and guns. That was funny....I have noticed that most Blooper Reels are....cheesy. I like the deleted scenes and behind the scenes best!

ditto. potc dvds are the only ones in this house which never ever go back into the dvd drawer!!

actualy i didn't like th car bit with the boats - it was just a chance for the special effects team to show off ... HELLO??? didn't they realise they'd already done that, for half the film already, um, walking talking moving skeletons .... not that that would even work anyway, but we all know about that!!!

and also - the blooper reel to potc 1 was available to download online about 4 months before the dvd came out, so that wasnt such an issue for me when i bought it, but normally, yes, bloopers rule the world!!

they're the best in comedy movies, when the actors just start laughing for no reason.

lol - like when jd is doing his "i think we've all arrived at a very special place eh?" bit at the end of 1st film ... i've seen about 17 takes of that where various people just crack up laughing!!

the actors in POTC say that it's hard to get a take done because they're always laughing at johnny since he has to walk funny and other stuff like that.
i can't wait to see the bloopers for POTC2.

lol. Oh, yes that shot of Jack wiv da gun is sooooo hot! *dies in cinema* i had to stop myself from jumping around the cinema, but i had a reeeeeeeeeeeeally annoying kid behind me kicking my chair and it kinda ruined the atmosphere....... but yea i'll shut up now :P

btw i love yr siggy of the sparrow tattoo jessigem...... soz i had 2 say that :P
