I'm scared. My Dad has the stomach virus and I have the fear of vomit and vomiting and everything to do with it and I have to stay here so what do I do? Help me. I don't want to get it!!! I'm shaking.

C'mon guys, that aint helping. Call a hospital and ask what you should do, what kind of stomach virus is it ? Is it really contageous? Just make sure if you havent already.

i'm sorry to tell you but it appears that your dad has a stomach flu...and you get it via airborne infection, so there's really nothing you can do except staying away from heavy food, milk products and everything albuminous...

hmm IF u do have to get near vomit, use gloves, or somthign to protect ur hands, put a towl over ur mouth when u get close to the area stuff like that and it will help take the chances of catching it down.

I'm okay as of now. Dad's mostly over it. He ate this morning and well...nothing "happened", so I'm assuming he's over it or mostly over it. The crap thing is, I can still get it via airborne. It can stay airborne upto 2 weeks in one household.

Does covering your nose/mouth with a cloth or shirt help it? I heard that it's inhaled through the nose.

I had it back in Feb. You need rest and avoid eating heavy foods or foods with too much grease.
