I saw a movie when I was younger about a girl who goes to a cathlic school and a boy from a reform school. The cathlic schhol has a dance with the boys from the reform. They fall in love and run away together and he gits shot at the end but does not die. I think the movie is from the 1980's. Can anyone help me with the name of the movie? Thanks for your help.

If its an 80's movie then I bet its "Fire with Fire" starring Virgina Madsen. ONe of my all time favs! I had a big crush on little miss Madsen!! Craig SHaffer was in it too. Great movie!
