Now I may not be very uber at some of the finery points of the DCU's ever changing history (The stuffs like friggen play dough ! ) but shouldn't power girl be dead ?

Explanation : In IC it's stated she's Kal-L's cousin , Kara Zor-El . Yet we saw Kara Zor El DIE at the end of COIE ?

Validus
Kara Zor-El of Earth 1 died in COIE.

Now you're confusing me.

Earth 1 doesn't exist at all anymore and why would that mean Power Girl should be dead?

DAMN DC !!!!!

Validus
So....

...why should PG be dead now?

Accel
Wait, isn't Power Girl Kara Zor-El of Earth 1?

Which Earth did PG come from?

Validus
Power Girl is Kara Zor-L from Earth 2.

Accel
Oh. Oh that's right. I forgot that Kal-L came from Earth 2 and not Earth 1.

DC has screwed around plenty with Power Girl since COIE, but there's no reason for her to be dead.

But explain to me again how we got back Supergirl - Kara Zor-El.

grey fox
Kal L = Original Supes = Original Supes holding dead Kara on the cover of COIE

IC = Powergirl now Original supes cousin

Wrong. That was Earth 1 Superman. Kal-L = NOT Earth 1 Superman.

Dead girl in his arms = NOT Power Girl

I think we're getting as confused as the DC Editorial staff. stick out tongue
