Here it is.... The real Spartan III thread.



It is roughly 500 years into the future. Due to over population humans have colonized other planets in different galaxies far from Earth. With such an expanded population comes a growth in crime. Groups of rebels cause trouble for the military and civilians alike.
A Civilian doctor (Catherine Halsley) came up with an idea to put a stop to all this. She called her project: SPARTAN. She would hand pick a group of children to be taken from their homes and sent off to the military training planet known as Reach. There they would be sculpted into near invincible super soldiers.
The first prototype generation of Spartans were successful to the point she decided to start the second generation. The Spartan II's exceeded their expectations( although a large number of them were lost during biogenetic surgeries.) Despite this the survivors were topnotch soldiers. The best of the navy.
As the Spartan II's recovered from their brutal surgeries, the humans made contact with a violent race of aliens known as the covenant. It was obvious that the humans would be fighting against impossible odds. Something had to be done. The Spartans seemed to be the only hope for humanity.
Dr Halsley started over again. She studied hundreds of children, searching for all the right physical requirements. The Spartan III's would help change the tides of war. This time Halsley was going to make them more effective. This time the surgeries wouldn't have such a high rate of failure. With help from ONI and a CPO Mendez, Halsley started the third generation.

This is where you come in. You will be a generation three spartan. You start out where ever your home planet is. Keep in mind that you're a regular 6 or 7 year old who has no idea what a spartan is. Obviously you can only interact with people from your own planet until your character is kidnapped and taken to Reach with all the others. This is where they will begin their training.

RULES

Everyone should know these already, but im writing them out anyways.

1. No godmodding! Your character is a normal human. You can make them have certain strong points but nothing too extreme.

2. Use OOC and keep it to a minimum. Too much OOC causes people to get left behind in RP's. If you wanna talk about something, take it to the sighn up thread.

3. Treat others the way you would want to be treated ^_^


Lastly I would like to point out that even though this is unhosted I will have some control over the RP. This isn't to boss people around, its to make things go smoother and to minimize arguments over the plot and other Halo related disagreements.

On Helerion 4, Camilla Wong, a small 6 year old girl was playing with some friends in the boarding school. She was having an ordinary day until an alarm sounded.

- "Everyone to the shelters!" - one of the teachers said and all the kids formed a line and started walking to the shelters.

- "What is going on Miss Adams?" - one teacher asked the other.

- "The covenant, they were sighted heading on this direction, we hope that the army can fight them back and if not evacuate as many as they can" - Professor Adams said and Camilla heard this and talked about it with her friends.

- "I'm sure the army will kick their butts" - a friend of Camilla said.

- "Yeah, they say the covenant are really ugly and stupid" - Camilla said.

The kids giggled as the teachers took them to the shelters to await evacuation from the army.

Dr. Catherine Halsey sat comfortably in the cockpit of her transport pelican, orbiting the planet Helerion 4. In the Co pilots seat sat Corporal Jake Rodriguez; her assistant in studying the potential subjects.

"The subject should be attending school at these hours." Chimed Siddhartha; the A.I. Halsley had been using for project.

"Precisely. Observation is not our top priority. With the covenant on it's way, we may not have the time to spare."

The corporal turned to face her with a concerned expression spread across his young face. "You mean we're nabbing the girl already?"

"Corporal we are faced with two options. A: Leave the girl and risk losing a valuable asset to this project, Or B: Collect her ourselves and have her stored in the Cryo a day longer than the others. I dont know about you, but I have a feeling the covenant aren't about to show this planet any mercy." Halsley answered, straightening her posture as she reached for the control panel in front of her. She tapped a series of holographic icons and in return a holographic image of a smiling 6 year girl faded into place above the holo panel.
"Our subject. Camilla Wong" She replied "Her physical markers match everything we're looking for. She's a perfect specimen."

The corporal nodded and opened his mouth to speak when Halsley cut him off.

"Now take us in Corporal. We're not leaving without 110."

Alex was at the shooting range with his dad, already have completeing his home-school work. He held a DE. 50 in his hands, tearing up the target ahead. Little did he know, his life was about to change.

"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! All units report to their stations, Civilians to the shelters ASAP!"

As soon as the message was broadcasted, Alex's dad scooped him up and dragged him off to a shelter with his family, tossing him a pistol.

"Keep them safe... I love you."

Alex's dad said, and put him in an embrace. After saying goodbye to his mother and sisters, he left for battle. Alex held the pistol tight to himself, and eventually fell asleep...

(Forgot to say what he looked like in the OOC xP)

Zeke woke up that morrning not knowing that his life would be different later that day or tommrow so he did his usual morrning rutine and gott out of bed went to the bathroom and tthen went to go get some breakfast and then he sat down and watched tv. Then later he got up and went to his basement where he had a punching bag hanging from the basement cieling and he started punching and kicking it because he wanted to join the army and he also wanted to be a boxer so he trained himself every day. He was punching the bag and kicking it and talking to himself.

" If those covenet come to earth i will beat their butts and make them go home to their moms and never want to come back!"

Zeke said to himself as though he knew that he was only seven years old and he couldnt beat many people up but if he had to fight to protect his family then he would do it. Zeke went outside after he was done with the punching bag and started to run around and get some more excersise and maybe find someone outside to talk to.

(well SW if your going to be squad leader can i be the person in conttrol right behind you :/ )

Camilla was escorted with the students through an open field to get to the shelter.

- "Come on kids keep up!" - miss Adams said as she ushered them in the direction of the shelter.

Camilla walked with her friends towards the shelter but she picked up and apple lying on the floor and she stood behind and looked up to the sky. A massive fleet entered the atmosphere and began firing to the city. Camilla stood there in the middle of the field looking at the massive ship firing some kind of blue ray into the city.

Zeke, No one is in charge. Don't worry, you'll get to boss marines around eventually ^_^

Lt. Forest and Private Lee strapped themselves into their seats as their pelican thundered through the atmosphere of Onderon. They had very strict orders to retrieve a young boy for a civillian doctor Halsley. Apparently the boy was part of a military project called Spartan. The two men knew little about the project, but were among the few that had been chosen to help.

"Ready the flash clone." Ordered Lt. Forest. Their Pelican had started to stabilize itself and it's landing thrusters were started to keep the bird from impacting the ground.

By now Lee had unstrapped his harness and made his way to the back of the pelican. Minnutes later he returned with a limp boy in his arms. The boy resembled a test subject. He had been dressed in the same clothes as well.

The lieutenant dropped the pelicans ramp then unstrapped his own harness and stood.

"Lets make this quick." He replied as he pulled a gas mask over his face.

"I couldn't agree with you more." Lee said, using one arm to hold the boy as he did the same.

A half hour later there was a loud knock on the shelter that housed Alex and his family. "Open up! UNSC!" A voice growled.

Alex's mother was reluctant to do so, but dared not disobey orders in a time like this. As she undid the varies latches and locks, she ordered the rest of the family to move to the back of the room. Holding her breath, she opened the door only to find herself facing nothing. No one was there. Just as she was about to peer outside the structure there was a quite click, followed by two thumps as something bounced across the ground and into the small room. A split second later there was a loud pop, and think grey smoke filled the room.

The Lieutenant stormed into the room, engaging his infared vision as he searched for Alex. It didn't take long to find the boy huddled in the corner holding onto a pistol.

Forest plucked the boy up with one arm and wrenched the pistol out of his hand with the other. After clipping the weapon to his waist he trotted out of the shelter, holding a hand over Alex's mouth, nodding to Lee. The private made his way over to the spot Alex had been sitting in, and placed the unconcious clone in the same position.

Zeke was still outside he was on his way back to his house running and then he got to his house and grabbed a bar that wa son his porch and started to do some push ups and sit ups and pull ups he was ready to fight if he had to be

Alex was holding out the pistol when he was taken. He quickly started kicking and screaming, but was soon muffled by the man's hand. AS he was carried into the pelican, he was strapped down in the row of steats that lined the Pelican. He had tears in his eyes, but quickly fell asleep again to the gentle rocking of the ship.

"hay man my name is ray mind if i work out with you"

Halsley watched from the pelican's cockpit as a covenant fleet rained hell on the city. They were cutting things short and the girl had to be removed immediately.

"Doctor! She's outside." Rodriguez stammered.

Halsley double checked his statement and sure enough, there stood a small girl in the middle of the feild, staring into the sky as if she hadn't a worry in the world.

"Corporal, you know what to do. There isn't enough time to land this bird properly so im sending you out on your own." She ordered.

Rodriguez looked dazed for a moment then nodded. It was hard for him not to salute, but he managed.
Just as he was ordered, he moved to the closed area in the back of the pelican and scooped up the flash clone in his arms.

"Im dropping the ramp." Halsley's voice came from the front of the bird.

Sure enough, the metalic ramp moaned, then lowered itself, revealing a grassy plain beneath him. The drop was more than he had expected, but the corporal couldn't afford to take his time. He bent his knees and jumped, holding the clone tightly against his chest. He landed hard and felt a pain in his knees. The flash clone stirred a bit, but other than that, didn't seem to mind. It was as if the thing wasn't human.

In the distance Rodriguez could see the girl, still staring up at the chaos that unfolded right in front of her eyes. He made a sprint for her, making sure not to drop the other clone.

It took him nearly five minutes to reach her, but it seemed like more than that. The corporal looked over his shoulder, noticing Halsley had positioned the bird behind some trees to conceal it from the other civilians.

"Im going to need you to come with me." Rodriguez said to Camilla, trying to sound as kind as possible. He set the clone down, then reached for Camillas apple and pulled it from her grip.
"I know this might be confusing, but thing's will be alot easier if you do exactly as I say." He added, handing the apple to the flash clone, who took it and stared at it as if she had never seen such a thing in her life.

(ok not tto be mean but you have to post more than a sentence or ttwo ok are you new to role playing)

Zeke looked up and saw a kid talking to him so he stopped and got up and went over to the boy.

" Well its nice to meet you Ray my name is Zeke and sure you can workout with me if you would like but im going to go inside in a couple of minutes."

"and my whole name is ray Holland and i plan on being the best weapons user in the Galaxy"

Lt. Forest slumped back into his seat after securing the boy.

"That kid sure has a lot of fight in him." Forest replied. "Stick him in the freezer and get ready for a long night. We're headed to Earth."

Lee sighed and did as he was told. With the help of a tech. Officer, Alex was injected with an anesthetic, then stripped of all clothing and any thing else that might cling to his skin. Lee monitored the Tech as he placed the boy into the white tube. Once Alex was properly encased, Lee entered a series of codes on the module in front of him, and the tube hissed shut, sealing the boy in Cryo sleep.

Camilla looked at the marine and she had a bewildered face but she hd no reason to distrust him so she nodded and went along with him.

- "What about my friends are they going too?" - Camilla asked.

"ok my name is Zeke McCoy and i plan on being a leader and the strongest person ever"

Zeke went back to working out then he got up and walked back over to Ray.

" Hey wanna go for a jog with me?"

"sure why not and sorry to crush your dreams but i will be the best no one will ever be better then me i make sure of that but on a note whats your number mine is 177"

"dude your to big headed i will beat you in the blink of a eye and my number is 007" Zeke started jogging off and getting his enduranc eup some more

(I'm not sure you have your numbers you haven't been picked up have you? Cause if not then you can't know your numbers)

"I'm already better then you in jogging and iam better then you in anything i try iam ten time as strong as you and soon i will be ten times as fast as you i get a robotic leg to and i don't me to seem cocky but to me its confidence "

Sorry I forgot to answer your question zeke >_< Yes. I am playing a character, but im not going to write about her being abducted. And they're coming to earth next. So that means you O_O Buuuut they wont kidnap you and Ray untill you're asleep.


"It's best if you forgot you ever had friends." The corporal answered, looking down at the girl who had to jog to keep up with his stride.

Once the two had reached the pelican, Rodriguez grabbed hold of Camillas waist and lifted her up and onto the dropships ramp. Luckily Halsley had lowered the bird to make this possible.

As soon as Rodriguez pulled himself into the bird he was greeted by Halsley's scolding tone.
"Corporal, Would you be so kind as to explain to me why 110 is still conscious?"

"There was no need to sedate her, ma'am, she did not resist." He answered.

"Very well." She said as she closed the dropships ramp and readied the bird for take off. "Take over the controls, Rodriguez."

Rodriguez nodded, leaving Camilla as he made his way to the cockpit.

Halsley approached the young girl and kneeled down before to meet the girls eye level. The doctors face was much warmer and relaxed than the corporals was.

"So, Camilla, What exactly were you doing in the middle of that field?"

"We'll split up and meet back here in two hours." Lt. Forest said, gazing out the pelicans window. The sun was beginning to set and soon the night would disguise their horrible work.

"I'll take 007, you handle 177." The lieutenant suggested.

"Sounds good to me." Lee said, pulling a black leather glove over one of his hands. He had never been on Earth, and he found it odd that his first trip here was to kidnap a young boy.

(i wasnt sure either)

"dude ur part robot so your acutally not able to be the strongest man because your a cyborg robotic leg and arm and all."

Zeke turns around and starts running back to his house. Shawn went inside it was already dark and he was tired from everything he had done today so he went and took a shower and then went to bed.

"hay man just because i don't have all my human parts does not make me have less of a Chance then you but I'm still going to be better then you and everyone else got it "

Camilla looked at the doctor.

- "I was looking at the big ship...am I in trouble?" - Camilla asked doctor Halsley and frowned.

"i so tried i going to sleep "
(sorry real short post but its kind of slow posting)

Dr. Halsley smiled and stared Camilla in the eye for a good two seconds before answering. "No. You're not in any kind of trouble at all. You seem very curious. Sometimes curiosity can get you into trouble. Lucky for you, this time it did not." Halsley stood back up. "Are you tired?"

Private Lee made his way down the dark street, the flash clone hidden in a black bag thrown over his shoulder. He refereed to his HUD for confirmation on the Subjects home address and sure enough, found himself standing directly in front of it.

Lee grabbed his COM and keyed into the Lieutenants frequency. "Sir, I've made it to 177's location. What's your status?"

"Way ahead of you, private." Forest answered as he gently removed the glass from the window in 007's bedroom.
With the clone safely over his shoulder, Forest ducked through the window and quietly made his way over to the edge of the child's bed. 177 slept peacefully, and unfortunately it would be his last night of peace.

The lieutenant reached for a case at his waist and pulled out a large syringe filled with blue liquid. Quickly and quietly, he pressed the needle to the sleeping boy's neck, and slowly injected the sedative.

Meanwhile, Lee crept his way across the floor in 177's room. The boy's robotic arm hung limp over the side of his bed as he slept. Lee readied his syringe and just as he was about to inject the boy, he turned over and stared face to face with Lee. Before the child could scream, Lee threw a hand over his face and forced the needle into the soft flesh of his neck. With that being taken care of, Lee set down the black bag and pulled the sleeping clone free, stuffing it into 177's bed. The whole process was sloppy, but all Lee could think about was getting out of the house before the childs parents woke up.

Camilla smiled at the doctor.

- "A little but not too tired" - Camilla said.

"You're a good girl Camilla." Halsley replied, rummaging through one of her pockets. "Here, have something to eat."

Halsley held out her hand, offering the girl candy. Unbeknown to Camilla, the candy was a sedative.

'Game Time! we're gonna win this today!'

A crowd of kids were roaring in triumph, victory, and pride, it was their weekly football games, compared to the other team they looked like giants, mostly 5th and 6th graders whereas the other team were basically 6-10 year olds.

'they can't do nothing with wise out! yea lets get them!'

Just as they were about to kick the ball off one 6 year old can running from out of the beds area still in his pajamas, the other team stood their either quietly or moaning, the groupd of smaller kids were smiling brightly and jumping around all over the place.

"I'm sorry I was sleepy, I didn't even get to change yet."

They still didn't care late or not he was there, the other team kicked the ball off and sped down the field, he quickly ran towards the ball and fielded it at the playgroud 2 yard line, as soon as he caught it two players on both sides of him were already coming straight at him, and he simple just jogged up the re were more players coming, and some being blocked then he saw it, a small opening just for him he quickly accelerated, it pratically left his entire team in woe his speed was just unbeleivable for a 6 year old the other team was slipping just trying to turn around towards which way he was running

- "Thank you" - Camilla said and unwrapped the candy and ate it. Moments later she found herself very sleepy so she started to close her eyes.

- "I feel sleepy" - Camilla said her eyelids getting heavier.

"thats not fair we never win, football, laser tag, relay races, cross country, capture the teddy bear (like capture the flag), kickball, or hunter (its like two teams of tag.) just because of him"

the whole entire team moaned and left the field and the smaller team all cheered, and dogpiled on top of wise

"Ma'am we're nearing Zenon. ETA is five minutes. I suggest you get that girl taken care of." Rodriguez yelled over the ships engines.

Halsley plucked the girl off of the ground and carried over to the Cryotubes. After removing her clothes and storing them, she placed Camilla in the tube. It took a matter of minutes to seal the air tight cryo bed, and when she was finished, the ship had already started to enter the planets atmosphere.

Halsley quickly made her way back to the cockpit and strapped herself in.
"Siddhartha. Display a visual of the orphanage on the main screen." She demanded. The corporal had installed mini cameras throughout the areas where her subject spent most of his time.

Instantly, the blank screen in front of her flashed to life. It showed her Subject, number 041 playing what appeared to be a simple game of foot ball. But this game was nothing of the ordinary. The boy moved at an alarmingly fast rate. Faster than the other spartans she had observed all day. Halsley had been watching him play this game for weeks, and each time he found a way to amaze her yet again.

Once the pelican had touched down in a hidden area not far from the orphans, the two unfastened their harnesses.
"Now rememeber, you're here to study the orphanages atmosphere. Not to abduct one of it's children. Try and stay casual." Halsley reminded.

The corporal nodded, and with that they headed in 041's direction.

they just continued dog piling him, till the last kid jumped on top of the pile to make it worse he was the heaviest of all the kids there, wise began struggling to crawl out of the pile nothing he wasn't use too, it worser the last time when a group of high schoolers came from Earth almost winning against them.

"Ha ha, that was funny I made jay do a split when he tried to catch me, I can't wait for the Relay races tommorrow."

"yea cause you basically are the entire team how can you be first and last leg?."

Everyon continued talking and reacting out all of the plays and games they ever done

Halsley and Rodriguez watched 041 from a distance as he crawled from underneath a dog pile.

"Stay here and make sure everything goes smooth." Halsley said before making her way over to the group of children.

She stepped in front of 041, looking down at him with a comforting smile. "Would you mind if I had a word with you?"

"um..."

He looked down at himself and noticed that he was still wearing his pajamas.

"I took a shower already though seriously! I just couldn't find anything to wear cause they were... am I in trouble?"

He put his head down and the rest of the kids scattered off in all directions to get away from the adult.

Halsley ignored his question and turned to lead him away from the other children. She made sure they were an earshot away from any adult before kneeling down to speak with her subject.

"Don't worry Wise. You're not in any sort of trouble at all. I just wanted to speak with you for a bit if it's not to much trouble." Halsley smiled and reached for what appeared to be a timer.

"You like to run, dont you?" She said, holding up the timer. "Well, let's see how fast you can run over to those tree's over there. Run all the way to the tree's then turn around and hold up one hand to signal you've finished. Sound fun?"

"yea I love running"

His faced gleamed up like the sun coming from out of a dark thunder cloud, he could've sworn he was in trouble but, instead he gets a chance to run around some more

"Ok where do I start?"

(wut happened to me u left me on earth lol )

"Right here." She said, shoving him forward a bit to start him off.

As he started to move, Halsley tapped at the so called timer, punching in the signal for Rodriguez who had already made his way back to the dropship. Halsley smiled as she watched her subject run towards his new life.

go back and read, Zeke!!!!! Your character just got abducted lol. It's only on the last page.

"ok"

He started without her saying go due to his eagerness, he legs were moving so fast for someone his size it barerly looked as if he even took them from off the ground, and unlike other runners he ran on his toes giving him an extra boost off of every step taken.

well duh it said 177 lol u goit in my room then u abducted 177

Corporal Rodriguez stood patiently behind one of the trees, waiting for the subject. He was amazed by the small boy's speed. It was almost as if it was unnatural.

There was barely a moment to spare for the corporal to baffle over the childs speed. Just as 041 was about to turn around, Rodriguez grabbed hold of him and jerked him behind the tree, covering his mouth to keep him quite.

Halsley had already begun to make her way back towards the dropship. She strode past the boy and the corporal as if the situation was an everyday ordeal.

"Get him inside and calm him down." She ordered as she marched up the pelican's ramp.

Rodriguez struggled to keep the boy still as he carried him into the drop ship. Once the two were inside he strapped the boy to a bench as he reached for a large needle.

At the same time, Halsley had ushered the clone out of the back of the pelican, and gently shoved him towards the orphanage. The identical replica of 041 sluggishly made his way back to his "friends"

Back inside the pelican, the corporal injected 041 with the sedative and waited for the boy to doze off before heading back to the cockpit and starting up the engines. Their next stop was Reach. The spartans were about to get a first glimpse of their future.

Bleh... sorry about that x___x my mistake. Lt. Forest was abducting you. I meant to put 007 for the first part. Not 177. >_< and sorry again people for the double postage.

his cries for help became more silent and weaker by the second.

"he.... lp"

His vision began blurring as he tried to fight off the dosage to stay awake, his head slowly cocked to the side and he quickly jerked it back and almost within the same speed of a heartbeat he fell asleep his mouth mouthing the words, 'somebody save me'.

(SW when do we land and get to wake up)

Alex.. Er... Continued to sleep... In the Cryo-tube.. And... Er... Yeah... Sleepy... Goood.... Mmm...

Lt. Forest and Private Lee sat slouched over in the cockpit of their transport pelican. They had been sitting for atleast 12 hours now and we're only a half hour away from the planet Reach. They had three spartans stored in Cryo sleep, and we're ready to meet them up with the other 72 Spartans that would be waiting for them at Reach.

"Lee, ETA is 20 minutes. Start bringing around those kids. They'll probably be a little disturbed, so try not to scare them too much." Forest said, yawning.

Lee forced his tired body to stand and make it's way into the small cryo storage room in the back of the pelican. He staggered over to the controls and started to punch in varies codes and passwords. Alex's tube was the first to start to thaw. Seconds later was Ray's, followed by Zeke's.

(yea we can awake now lol)

Zeke awoke and licked his lips and almost gagged because something digusting was on his lips and then he tried to take a step but fell his legs were sttill alseep and he looked over to the guy at the controls.

" um....excuse me mister but where are we?"

All of the images flashed back into Alex's head as he started to thaw, and the first thing he did when he woke up was dart stright for the nearest man and tackle him, though it may or may not 've thrown him down. He started yelling, kicking, screaming, and throwing puches at the man's face.

An hour later and the pelican holding Camilla and Joshua was on it's way to Reach.

"No need to store him, Corporal." Halsley replied as she noticed him staring at the sleeping boy. "Reach isn't that far off. He'll be fine the way he is. But do unfreeze 110."

The Corporal left the pilots seat, and Halsley replaced it. She watched as Rodriguez disappeared behind the door to the Cryo storage room and waited for him to finish his work.

Ten minutes passed and Halsley nearly started to doze off. She was immediately reminded of the other Spartans. The doctor pinched the nose of her glasses, and in return a set of files flashed into place across the lenses. She quickly accessed her email to make sure the other pelican's were on schedule. She read through a few letters and thankfully everything was running according to plan.

"The girl's coming around." The corporal said from behind her.

She turned and pressed her glasses up higher on her nose. "Good. Now monitor the boy untill he wakes up. And don't forget to unseal 110's tube once she's thawed."

"ETA four minutes." Siddhartha warned. Reach could be seen through the front of the pelican. The SPARTAN project had started.

Pvt. Lee Caught the furious boy in his arms. He was surprisingly strong for such a small boy, and Lee struggled to hold him still.

He continued breathing lightly, still not aware of where he was he was busy dreaming of an old movie he saw, Nightmare On Elm Street, next thing he knew he saw Freddy's face and was startled by it he awoke still blurry vision, still feeling sleepy though he attempted to go back asleep without even looking where he was at

Alex growled at the man and threw on his clothes. After getting dressed, he sat down in the back of the ship, right next to the loading ramp. Obviously he wanted to be alone, and didn't want to talk to anyone.

Camilla finally woke up and stood up. Her clothes were on a table near the tube she was in. She took them and got dressed then she walked out of the room to where the Doctor was.

- "Are we there yet?" - She asked a bit sleepy still but she rubbed her eyes.

"ummmm..mister why cant we wear our regular clothes?..and whats this number on it for?"

Zeke got up and looked at the clothes

Halsley turned around, suprised by the girl's calm state. She stood and strode over to her. "Actually we are." She replied, looking down at 041. He was beginning to show sighns of waking up.

"Corporal get him ready." She yelled.

Rodriguez sat next to the boy, wiping some drool off his shoulder as he waited for him to wake up.

Four minutes came and went and the pelican had finally docked at Reach.

Halsley was first to stroll down the pelicans ramp, followed by Rodriguez, who helped the groggy Joshua to stand on his own. Halsley walked, gently nudging Camillia on in front of her. The two were greeted by various technicians. One of which prodded Camilla away from Dr. Halsley and led her towards a set of large metal doors.

"This way please." He said in a monotone voice.

Once at the doors, the Tech. Officer punched in his verification code and the metal barrier split open, revealing a large circular room filled with dozens of other children.

At the doors, a trainer dressed from head to toe in fatigues, grabbed hold of Camillas shoulders and rather abruptly lead her down a ramp to where she was prompted to sit with the other children.

Lee couldn't help but feel sorry for the young boy. He had just been taken from his home, and probably felt as if his whole world was caving in on him. The private was about to say something, but he knew it was better to tuck away emotion in times like these.

"Get away from that door, son!" Yelled Forest as he trudged to the back of the pelican. It's ramp lowered, and immediately Forest grabbed hold of Alex, viciously pulling him to his feet. "Move!" Forest ordered, shoving the boy forward.

As the boy staggered down the ramp, he was intercepted by a trainer wearing fatigues. Two more trainers strode past him, and lead the other two boys. The three made their way through the metallic doors where they were forced to find a place among the 72 other children

Zeke your character can put on his normal clothes. He gets his new outfit when they wake up in the morning ^_^

He opened his eyes slowly and quickly blinked them seeing the ground beneath him move, he had no clue where he was, he never even seen the ground look like that before then he saw some one carrying him somewhere, not struggling he guessed that he was still at Zenon and being taken away by one of the adults to what they called child timeout, and knowing if he struggled they would then make him lick the toilet clean as told by one of the 6th graders

Camilla did not put up a fight instead she let herself go. She was begining to think it was all a dream. A very real dream but she decided to go along with it all. She was kind of sad for being away from the Doctor lady but she sat there in her seat and looked at the soldier.

- "You should try smiling mister, it wouldn't hurt you" - Camilla said with a smile.

Alex reluctantly let the man drag him to his feet and down the door. He couldn't help but think about his past... His family! He started to cry... But they were tears of anger... Alex was supposed to protect his family, not abandoned them!!! Alex started throwing punches at the man holding him, releiving some of the stress that was upon him... The sadness...

Raevynn sat cross legged somewhere near the center of the large group. Some children were in seats, while the others had to sit on the floor. The girl watched as an angry boy was drug into the room. He had tears in his eyes. Raevynn could tell his trip was a bit rougher than hers had been. After the angry boy came another darker colored boy was gently shoved into the room. He seemed like he was still recovering from the sleep.

Raevynn looked around at all the new faces. She noticed one girl talking to a trainer, telling him he should smile more often. This made Raevynn smile, but the trainer didn't find it as amusing as she did.

"um am I going to the timeout fati- um faki- facilibity?"

He wasn't exactly the best with talking seeing as most of the time all he ever heard was trash talk from the 5th and 6th graders.

- "One day I'll make you smile" - Camilla said to the trainer and looked over where Rae was. She waved at her brightly, it was as if Camilla had no care about what was going on.

Alex was thrown to the floor behind Rae, and he sat up, still having an angry look on his face. If he had a gun, he would've shot everyone here. He sighed and sat back against the floor, staring at the ceiling...

he turned around and saw a lady just sitting there and waved.

"Hey didn't I see you somewhere before?"

He still couldn't remember cause everything happened so fast all he remembered was everyone laughing at jay because he had made him do a full split just by doing a stutter step.

Raevynn smiled a toothy smile at Camilla, but was quickly distracted as the angry boy she saw earlier was shoved behind her.
She stared at him for a good while, then forced her eyes to dart elsewhere. She didn't want him to get mad at her for staring.

Raevynn watched as a trainer hushed the sleepy boy. The trainers never answered questions. Not even hers.

Everyone's attention was suddenly diverted towards the front of the room, where Halsley stood atop a tall podium. She tapped a microphone in front of her face, then pressed a button that magnified her already booming voice.

"Hello children." She began, looking over the entire crowd through her glasses. "My name is Doctor Halsley as many of you may already know. You may be wondering why you are here today, and the answer is simple. You've been carefully selected to be transformed into elite soldiers. The very best the Navy has to offer. You alone will be all that stands between humanity and extinction. Some of you may miss your family and home, but I'll tell you right now, you're never going to see them again."

At this point, a few of the children broke out in tears. Some of them tried to stand, only to be shoved back down by one of the trainers.
Raevynn however listened intently. She wasn't yet sure what to make out of this whole situation. She barely understood a word of the ladies speech.

Halsley took a deep breath, pushed her glasses up a little higher on her nose, then continued. "I urge each and everyone of you to take a good look around this room. This place will be your home from now on. The faces you see here today are your new family. From now on you're no longer a mere human being. You're Spartans. Your training will begin bright and early tomorrow morning with Cheif Petty Officer Mendez. Rest up Spartans. Your new life begins tomorrow." With that she finished, and with a wave of her hand dismissed the group.

The trainers forced the children onto their feet and herded them through a second pare of sliding doors. From there they walked down a long gravel road untill they we're pushed and prodded inside a concrete building. A large bunker filled with wooden bunkbeds and showers at the far end of the room.

"These will be your quarters!" A trainer shouted. "Get to sleep!" He finished before slamming the metal door shut, locking the 75 children inside.

"Hands off!"

Alex yelled as he was thrown inside after more struggle. He lay on the ground, looking up to see most of the children's eyes on him.

"Piss off!"

He yelled to them all, and sat near the back of the area. He stared at the wall, ignoring the children's cries and moans.

"wow whats his pwoblem?"

He sighed there was alot of things he was going to miss, but mainly sports, he really never remembered his family and only spent 2 years at the orphanage and could only remember 6 months of staying there, he wasn't good with the people's names there except the ones that would never shut up, so that basically left him from out of the crying moaning group but still yet he missed everyone there.

Raevynn yawned and robbed at her droopy eyes. Already a few of the children had climbed into bunks and dozed off to sleep. Maybe they had accepted this new way of life, or simply were just too tired to think about it. As for Raevynn she wasn't entirely sure. Everything had happend so rapidly she didn't know what think.

"Wow what's his pwoblem." A boy replied from behind her.

Raevynn shrugged and looked to see the angry little boy from earlier. She made her way through the crowd and stood behind him.
"Hey, guy, don't be so sad. Everything will turn out okay. You just wait."

"Okay? Okay?! You call this okay?! I was just stripped from my family when I was supposed to protect them! Now I'm on some stupid planet with some stupid kids doing some stupid program!"

Alex burst out, and then took a few deep breaths. He then turned to see the girl and smiled.

"I'm sorry... I'm just pretty mad right now... What about you? Aren't you sad or mad?"

"wows he has a nice vocalbuwary."

He wasn't quite understanding most of the words said by the kid but he could tell he was pretty angry, he hopped out of the crowd and next to the two.

"yea it can't be that bad, I barerly remember my parents."

Raevynn sat down beside the boy and took a deep breath. She was glad to see that he had settled down. Most the group was in chaos. If just a few of them would calm down, maybe, just maybe they would all be able to get what they wanted.

"I'm not sad at all." She answered in a cheery tone. "When I went to sleep I thought I'd wake up to another boring day. Instead here I am." She hugged her knees and yawned. "I bet you miss your mom. And probably your dad too, huh?"
Raevynn looked up at the other boy and smiled. "You see! He's not sad either. We're all stuck here together. That makes us a big family." She said, a big smile still spread across her tired face.
The girl stood up and puffed out her chest. "My name's Raevynn! What about you guys?"

Alex smiled and nodded, though still sad on the inside.

"Th' name's Alex! You know, we should all stick together... No matter what!"

He laughed, and stood up as well, holding his hand in between them both.

"What'd ya say?"

"yea, my names joshua wise, I'm a big fan of of races, football, and laser tag what about you guys?"

He sat next to the two and looked at the other kids some were calming, so were calm, and some continued crying.

"Sounds like a good plan, Alex. I like it." She said with a smile. "It's good to meet you both.

She listened to Joshua go through his list of hobbies and couldn't help but find his voice amusing. She laughed a little before answering. "Those are all fun, but I just like winning. No matter what the game." Raevynn replied, rubbing at her eyes again.
"Maybe we should get a bunk before the other kids take all the good ones." She suggested

"I call top!"

Alex yelled, and jumped rather high onto the top bunk. He laughed and started to sleep.

He saw that he kids began to quickly fill up after they heard him call top, he saw one bunk it looked extra confortable it looked as if it was an air mattress, room for two almost apparently though it was on the other side of the room and must have been left, one kid started running after it, and wise smiled and ran his hardest for the bed, he juked and spin through the mob of kids running around and made it to the bed before the other kid had a chance of touching it.

"ha ha I get the good bed."

"Ooh. He's good." Raevynn said with a laugh. She scrunched up her nose in mock anger as she made her way to an open bunk next to alex's. She leapt into the lower bed, too tired to climb her way to the top bunk.
The matress was hard and the pillows; not as fluffy as she would have normally hoped for. Nonetheless, she was so tired that it was the most comfortable bed she had ever been in.
Raevynn pulled the cold sheets over her body and hugged the pillow.
"Goodnight." She said softly to no one in particular.

Okey guys... I have to get up in a few hours so iiiim outie. I probably wont be able to post again untill night time tomorrow. This will give everyone else a chance to catch up with what's happend so far. G'night guys ^_^

"hey you guys can got on this bed too its big enough!"

He tried to carry the bed but it was too wide for him, his arms had enough trouble reaching a quarter of the way.

Rayden blinked at the seemingly bright light, and hacked out the liquid that was in his lungs. As his vision started to come back to him he looked around at his surroundings.

"How did I get here? Were is here?"

From the sound of the engine, and the look of the interior, Rayden guessed that he was in the back compartment of a standard military issue D77-TC Pelican Dropship. Obviously he had just emerged from a deep sleep that was the result of a cryozination chamber. That would explain the liquid in his lungs that he was couging up.

A gruff looking man wearing the standard UNSC military uniform strode into the room, gazing at raydem for a few seconds before roughly grabbing him and hauling him to his feet.

"Glad your awake 077! We will be landing soon. Get dressed, and hold your questions until we land." Was all the man said before leaving the room.

Rayden rubbed his eyes, having barely heard what the man had said. He tried to remember how he had gotten aboard the Pelican in the first place. As he let his mind wander back in time he felt the memories come back to him in a flash.

He had been playing one of his favourite RTS games, though for some reason he couldn't remember which one it was. But he knew that he had been playing it when their had been a knock on the door. His parents weren't at him, so he opened the door himself. He opened the door and...

Nothing. That's all he remembered. It didn't matter though. What had happened, had happened. Besides, he was with the UNSC, and they wouldn't let anything happen to him. He would probably be returned to his parents in a week.

Rayden put on his clothes and sat down against the wall, he fished around in his pocket, hoping to find sucess, and lo and behold. He pulled the holopad out of his pants pocket and checked the disk slot, one of his many RTS's was still in it. Apparently, their was a god.

Rayden played it for about a whoel twenty minutes before beating the game again and growing bored of it. He thumbed off the holopad than slumped against the wall. He still felt extremely tired...

Rayden closed his eyes and dozed off once again into a deep sleep.

Rayden awoke with a start from a jab in the ribs. His eyes fluttered open to see the same gruff face of the man he had met earlier.

"C'mon, we're hear! Time to wake up son!" The man yelled, spittle flying into Raydens face. Rayden got up slowly and painfully, not wanting to get on the badside of the man, and staggered down the ramp. He didn't remember much of the walk, other than a few other soldiers walking past, and what looked like scientists eyeing him thoughtfully.

Finally Rayden and the man stopped outside of a large room, Rayden's eyes fluttered a second, allowing him to see several other children his age in the room. He staggered into the room and nearly fell from the shove he recieved to make him move faster. Rayden sat down on his knees in the near back of the crowd of kids, towering over most of them. As he struggled to stay awake, a pale lady wearing glasses stepped up to a podium in the front of the room. Rayden mostly ignored what she said, losing the battle to stay counscious. The kast thig he heard before falling backwards was something about them becoming Spartans. Weren't the Spartans an elite group of Greek soldiers?...

Rayden awoke with a start again a few minutes later. He managed to get up by himself without the help of the officers and followed the rest of the kids. he felt his pocket, and sighed in relief when he realized he still had his holopad.

The officer led the group of kids into a large babin like room with Bunk beds at one end of the room, and showers at the other. He told them that this was their quarters, than left the room.

As soon as the officer left immediate hell broke loose. Kid's scrambled here and their trying to get certain beds, while others just cried or had tantrums. Rayden noted one of the looking especially pissed. A girl walked up to him, and said something to him, calming him down. Soon afterwards a third kid joined up with the duo.

Rayden stood in the middle of the room with an amused look on his face as Kids scrambled everywere. When the commotion finally calmed down Rayden strode over to the vacant bunk left over and flopped down on it. He pulled out his holopad and started tinkering with it, though in actuality he was eavsdropping on the three fellows from earlier. They all introduced themselves as Alex, Joshua, and Raevyyn, though Rayden couldn't spell the last one in his mind if his life depended on it.

Rayden smiled into his holopad's view screen. He would remember their names and appearences, they seemed like nice people. But in the meantime, he had more pressing thing to do.

Rayden tinkered with his holopad again, trying to find some form of a holonet. Not finding any he decided to screw around with the complex's firewalls. He hacked his way through the 2nd level of the firewall before an AI appeared and manually shut down his holopad. Meh, he would override the shutdown code in the morning. Rayden cut a small hole in the matress and slid the holopad into it, than he went to sleep...

Camilla watched as the doors closed before her. Many children were crying but she just ran to a bed and jumped on it once and lay down on it. She looked up and could see the underside of the bed on top of hers. She was just thinking of the huge ship she had seen. Some kids even looked at her funny since she wasn't crying nor was she smiling she was only thinking about what happened but she didn't understand it all after all she was only a girl. But she was curious to know what was going to happen next.

After finally giving up on moving hte bed he kicked it down infront of the door, and went straight to sleep, th bed had so much air in it he couldn't even bounce off of it when he jumped on it but, it prooved more comfortable than the others looked.

*Jacob was sitting at the table at 4:00 AM just having finished breakfest. his father was sitting on his right and his mother to his left. It was a typical weekday on Atinmar and Father was getting ready to go to work but as always before he did he asked us to take hands and bow our heads.*

Father: " Lord we thank you for keeping us together and keeping us safe. May you watch after us this day and give us the strength to do what we must this day. In your name we pray"

Everyone: "Amen"

*With that Father got up grabbed his mining helmet and kissed me on the head and walked out the door. Mother grabbed the dishes and put them in the sink. Then turned towards me and said have a good day. Then she handed me my sack and I took off towards school walking down the long corridors. It was a normal day as usual.*

*School came easy for Jacob half of it was he was smart the other half was because he could see the answers on Miss Williams agenda. He had been accused of cheating when he was sitting up front which he was but now that he was sitting in the back they couldn't do it anymore even though he could still see that answer key from all the way back. After school school Jacob had exactly one hour before he had to go work in the junk yard so as always he went to the terrace. There were nine of them on the station the only "open" place on the station. Basicaly it was amarket place some 40 miles long. With all kinds of building and stuff to play on. He ran to the terrace with the other kids but as soon as he got inside the other kids wen one way he the other. He didn't belong with them they all looked down on him. Jacob's father had spent a good portion of his earning to send Jacob to the private teaching that was noramlly for the managers and engineer's kids. Jacob to those kids was nothing more than a dirt poor kid that was to smelly to play with. He was fine with it though truth be he enjoyed playing by himselfand having nothing but his thoughts to keep him company. Jacob picked up a pebble and threw it at the first sign he could see that was 50 yards away and as always he hit the dead center of the O in Ogon's Market.*

Jacob remembers the needle in his arm and everything from there is one big blur.
By the time everything was done he was awake on a bed looking around and seeing other kids his age. He had no idea what was going but he realized it was night and Father would be upsey if he didn't pray.
So got down on the side and began to pray.*

Alex couldn't sleep... He kept on having dreams of his family and the Covenant attacking them... He sat up in his bed, in the darkness that filled the room. He pulled out a small flashlight from his back pocket and began a slideshow of shadow animals on the wall.

Raevynn had fallen asleep as soon as her face hit the uncomfortable pillow. As she slept, she dreamt of her home on earth, and her parent's faces. She felt as if she was still in her own bed.

The next morning Raevynn awoke to the sound of a man's rough voice yelling at the top of his lungs.

"Rise and shine boy's and girl's! It's 0400 hours(4:00 in the morning for those who don't know miltary time) and time to start training."

Raevynn groaned and sluggishly rolled over in her cot, too tired to get herself up.

Ikki got up slowly yawning. Geez waking up this early. No way. He said and slammed his head back on his pillow and pulled the covers over his head. As he soon began to doze off, and he soon fell completly asleep knocked out cold. Slober dripped down his mouth as he opened it and turned over in his blue with a cartoon character called KON drawn on it. His pillow case matched his cover.

Wise continued laying on his bed til one of the trainers saw him, the trained walked over there and said in his ear to wake up with his teeth clenched, Wise continued to rest through the entire wake-up, the trained growled at that and immediatly took the bed and flipped Wise off knowking him on the floor wkaing him immediatly.

"Ow what was that fwor?"

'WAKE UP!'

The trained didn't seem very happy with Wise attempting to disobey him although he technically couldn't here him.

"you could've just asked."

Ikki started snoring louder and suddenly his cover and pillows were ripped from him. As two Trainers stood over him the guy holding a Cover, and the Women holding the pillow. "Get up!" The men yelled. "Yes sir!" Ikki yelled and jumped up. Why am i being Obdient again." He said sighing. "Look tough soilder!" The guys said again and folded up the cover and laid it in Ikki's bed. "Why did you sleep on the floor?!" Ikki turned to the men Trainer. "Don't know sorry sir!" He yelled and the Women threw his pillow on the bed. "Drop down in give me fifty." The Women trainer yelled. Ikki sighed and got to his knees as he quickly began to do his fifty.

Camilla opened her eyes rubbed them and stood up. She wasn't as mad as the other kids were because she had been woken in the boarding school in the middle of the night with simulations for fire, earthquakes and other disasters so she was used to it.

She got out of bed and stood there waiting to see what happened next.

Ikki had bent his legs slightly and continued doing his Push-Ups. When suddenly he felt weight on him but not fully. As the Female Trainer stood not fully weight on him. Ikki began to struggle than with his Push-Ups but finished them.

Alex was already awake when the Trainers came by. He had sat up all night thinking of his parents, and his once happy mood once again turuned sour.

Ikki stood up and bowed to the Women and Men trainer. "Thank you Mam and Sir!" He yelled and walked to his bed as he sat down as he waited next.

The trainer stared remotly at wise after that comment about asking next time.

'what I wouldn't give to be your trainer at the moment'

He snarled and left to get the other kids up, he had no idea what he meant since he was sleeping so hard he wondered what they had to do here since he was awake now

Ikki was staring at Wise and watching everything. He stood up and walked over to him smileing. "Hello. Wondering what will happen next me as well. Oh sorry." He said standing up and bowing slightly. "My name is Ikki Simca nice to meet you." He said and stuck out his hand.

By now Raevynn had fallen back to sleep. She began to dream when suddenly the man's rough tone broke through her slumber.

"Apparently you trainees don't know how to get out of bed!" He shouted.
As soon as he stopped speaking, she dozed off again, but not for long. Out of nowhere a sharp electric shock pulsed at the base of her neck and down to her stomach.

Raevynn's eye's flashed open and she gasped for air as she rolled off of the bunk and onto the cold floor at the man's feet. She landed in a twisted heap as she coughed and sputtered, trying unsuccessfully to take in oxygen.
Raevynn looked up at the brutal man through her blurred vision. He had a band of grey hair that started at his temple. His features were grim and although he had been so loud, his face had no emotion to it what so ever.
The man tapped a silver baton into the palm of one of his hands. It must have been where the pain had come from. She had seen similar devices used on cattle.

"Let this be an example to you all!" He shouted. "The next maggot I see slackin' will meet the same punishment. Now form a straight line! Double time!"

"Hey!" Ikki yelled running at Raevyn and helping her up. "Are you okay." He said as he put her arm around him and picked her up. I'll get tons of Punishment from them. But it's worth it. He said and layed her on the bed. "Just let her sleep! I'll take her punishments." He said and got to his knees and bowed.

"whoa what was that?"

The trainer that flipped wise from out of the bed turned around swiftly, his eyes staring angerly at him he whipped out another one of the electric batons.

'need me to show you?'

"no."

The trainer walked slowly towards wise's way as if he were checking for the rest of the kids there and immediatly shocked him

'its sir, no sir you got that?'

"sir no sir!"

The trainer snarled shocked him twice that almost depleted wise already and he has yet to endure the training

'when you don't understand, or know the question I ask you, you answer sir no sir got that?"

"um sir no sir?"

The trained cocked back teh baton to lash it violently at wise until a girl trainer walked in and caught his arm telling him to calm down.

Rayden shut hi seyes tight and put his head under the pillows to muffle out the sound of the rude awakening the other children were expieriancing. He knew that his trainer (Why in the world do I have a trainer?) would "wake him up" in a second, and he wanted to grasp as much time in bed possible. He was almost able to fall asleep before he felt a hand roughly tear away his covers, the same hand then picked Rayden up by the coller and tossed him a few feet itno the air. Rayden looked up at his new Trainer, a tall, black guy with a goatee, wierd. The trainer rummaged around in sheets, before finding the hole Rayden had put in the matress and takign out the hidden holopad.

"Command says that you've been using this here thing to hack into our systems." The man said gruffly. The man showed a hint of a smile, of amusement, or admiration, Rayden couldn't figure out which. The man looked at the holopad one more time, than hurled it at the wall.

No!" Rayden yelped, than dived for it, barely managing to grab it out of the air before ti hit the wall. Rayden examined it to make sure it wasn't damaged, than turned to his Trainer. The man still had a smile on his face, before it turned into a glare and he walked up to Rayden and b*tch slapped him in the face, hard.

"If we ever find you hacking our systems again you'll get worse than a slapping!" His trainer said, than stormed out of the door.

Rayden stuffed the holo[ad into his pocket, than put his hand to his cheek, which was still stinging.

And finally, it was Alex's turn.

Alex had received a trainer of enourmously bulky build, muscles bulging from his arms and through his uniform's sleeves.

"Great..." Alex murmmered.

"What was that... Maggot?!" The man yelled.

Alex wasn't thinking right now, so he stared the man straight in the eye. Maybe it was lack of sleep? Or maybe he was pissed. Either way, great move Alex .

"I said!" Alex screamed, loud enough for the room to hear, "That it is just great that I get the big stupid, idiot for my trainer!!!" Alex had taken a step up to the man, and was looking up, straight in to his face.

"What was that... Maggot?" The man sneered, leaning down, face to face with the child.

"You ****ing heard me you useless deaf, sack of SHIT!!!" Odd... Alex didn't know he had such a vocabulary... His dad was in the Navy...

"Rrrgh!! I'll kill you! Kill you!!" The man threatend, and put a single hand around Alex's chest, and hurled him into the nearby wall. A death-defying crunch was heard and Alex fell to the ground, Out Cold.
Two more trainers rushed over to calm the man down, and put Alex back in bed, his breathing normal. He was going to recover, it just was gonna hurt like Hell.

He saw Alex being thrown into the wall by the giant guy as soon as he hopped up the lady snatched him before he started to move

Raevynn had only been on the bed for a split second, before the man had swooped down on them like a hungry bird. He grabbed RAevynn by the back of her shirt as if she were no more than a doll, and tossed her against the floor yet again.

As soon as Raevynn hit the floor, she scrambled to her feet, reluctant to meet the baton yet again. She staggered towards the newly assembled line that some of the other children had already started to form, and joined in. Her breath was short and ragged, but thankfully she could breath a little better than before.

The man held Ikki by the front of his shirt, a mere breathe away from his face.

"Obviously what we have here is a failure to communicate!" He growled through gritted teeth. He was so close to the boy, that Ikki could smell the rich scent of his cigars on his breath. "You would do well to make this your last mistake. And just to make sure that we're clear on that, I'll speak slowly," That being said, he jabbed the baton into Iki's stomach, holding it there as he sent the electric shock into his small body. "You will do EXACTLY as I tell you to! Failure to comply will result in severe punishment! Now MOVE, trainee!!!" He screamed, removing the weapon from Ikki's stomach, and tossing him in front of the line with ease just as he had done with Raevynn.

Ikki screamed loudly so loudly he could be heard around the whole building almost. As small shocks sent thru his small body. And his hair stuck up completly as he got thrown to the ground. He layed down holding his chest and shaking. "Yes sir." He said hoarsly and stayed on the ground as he tried getting up. But everytime he moved pain went thru out his body. He then stood up trying as best as he could to ignore the pain. He didn't want to slow the line down and get others in trouble. Each step he took he yelped like a fox.

Rayden got up off thr ground and shuffled into line. He fought to hold back the tears. Why were they all being abused this way? They weren't soldiers.

Rayden asked the kid directly in front of him what they were doing here, he had fallen asleep during the orintation.

Kage shrugged his shoulders at Rayden. "I don't know but they arn't suppose to be doing this to us. I wanna go home." He said lowly as his body jolted and his eyes became watery as he thought about home. He quickly hid his tears and stood up tall.

Alex continued to breathe, his body not moving but his mind racing. He thought about the man, and how he would kick his ass when he woke up, he thought about his family and how they would feel about his condition... He wondered if his father knew this was going to happen... He jolted awake and stood himself upright, picking his trainer out of the group, though he wasn't in any condition to attack him. Alex merely stood at attention, and waited.

A content look was worn on the rough man's face as he strode up and down the row of children, inspecting the sloppy line they had made. Children automatically straightened their posture as he made his way past them.

"Listen up Trainees! I don't like to repeat myself so make sure you're good and awake. My name is Chief Petty Officer Mendez, and I will be sculpting your sorry asses into something worth fighting for. You will all do exactly as I command you to do. If I say jump, you jump, If I say move, you run, and if I say eat dirt, you better damn well eat it, and when you're done you're going to ask for seconds!" Mendez gave the group a chilling glare through his dark eyes before he started back up again. "Your training starts now, Maggots! Hit the shower then return to your bunks to dress in your new attire! MOVE OUT!"

"Sir Yes Sir!" Ikki yelled and took off to the showers. He had seen that some were broke when he was sleep. And he had snuck around. Ikki was always stealthy and smart, also good at hand to hand combat. He was the first in the shower with his KON towel and and KON colored soup. He turned on the shower and took his clothes off. As he jumped into the Shower and began to scrub himself clean with the soup. He sat down in the small ledge and washed his feet. Then began to wash under his arms.

Rayden felt sorry for Kage because he felt the same way. He stood straighter as Chief Mendez introduced himself.

"My names Rayden, nice to meet you." he said, than bolted for the showers.

Rayden didn't arrive first, or even in the top ten. Most of the shorter kids beat him to the showers, so he stood in the center, waiting for one of the showes to become vacent.

(I mean't Ikki sorry. >&lt

Alex nodded silently, and ran off to the showers. After five minutes of useless scrubbing and shampooing, he returned to the Bunks in full uniform, standing at attention.

Ikki was fresher then ever. He smiled it felt good to take a good hot shower. It really took a load off him felt like he was at home. But when he stepped out the shower with a towel wrapped around him. And his hair covering his face he knew it was nothing like home. He knocked his hair out his face and smiled at Rayden. "Hey you can use this one if you want. I even cleaned it." He said staying in there and making sure no one else went in until he answered. Until a kid slammed the door smashing Ikki's foot. He jumped from the door as the kid laughed and walked in. "Hey!" He yelled and banged into it. "Get out i was saving i for someone!" He yelled. "I could careless." He said Ikki growled then smiled as he pulled out his lock pick tool. He pushed it in the door and kicked it open. "Everyone look!" He yelled as everyone ran and looked at the kid smileing and laughing. Ikki walked over to Rayden. As he had a bruise on his foot. "You can use one of them. There free now from the kids since there well you know." He said and walked past Rayden.

Raevynn darted off towards the showers, forgetting to take her socks off as she got there. She coughed one last time as her breathing slowly returned and closed her eyes as she let the cold soapy water soak her tired body.

Once she was sure she'd showered enough, Raevynn trudged out of the showers, wrapping a towel around herself as she made her way back to her bed.
There was a set of new clothes waiting for her. She picked up the grey sweat shirt and examined it closely. Stenciled across the chest in bold black letters was her name, followed by the numbers one one six. She quickly pulled the shirt over her head, then slipped into the matching grey pants. At the foot of the bed we're black combat boots. She stepped into them, and to her suprise they fit her small fit perfectly.

Ikkie walked to his bed. And turned to see the girl that he had helped. Geez not to be mean but not even saying thank you He said to himself and turned back to his bed and quickly slipped on his Grey pants and grey jeans and black boots. He sighed. This place is horrible. He said to himself and sat on his bed. As he leaned against the wall. And took out his covers as he layed down. He pulled the covers over him and put on his I-Pod. He started blasting the music so it was easy to here in the room. He was listening to Getting Away With Murder by Papa Roach. He listened to that as he played a game on his I-pod. He had the covers over him so no one could see.

lol, She's too busy trying to behave. Don't worry, she never forgets to say thank you ^_^
Mendez sowered over the group as he waited for them to redress themselves. His arms were folded nearly behind his back and his face still held its emotionless appearance.

"I want it done twice as fast tomorrow." He grumbled as soon as the last child had finished tying his boots. The poor boy could barely tie them himself, and needed a trainer to assist him.

"This way, your training will be done outdoors." Mendez replied, his voice as close to normal as it had been all morning.

The man turned and led them through a set of doors Raevynn hadn't noticed before. Outside was a large grassy area, still coated with beads of dew. The sun had just barely started to peak over the horizon.

The trainers hearded the children onto the grass like they were simple animals. Once everyone was in place, Mendez started to bark orders yet again.

"Our first excersize will be jumping jacks! One hundred If anyone has the nerve to quit, you'll be doing double. Ready?" Without giving the group a chance to answer his question, he started to count.

Rayden laughed.

"Thanks, I guess."

He stepped into one of the vacant showers and tuned on the water, letting sluice down his body. His face was feeling better from earlier, and the effect of the water was soothing.

Rayden got out of the shower wrapped in a towel and walked over to his bunk to see neatly folded clothes on it. He examined the clothes to see his name on the sweat shirt, as well as a...serial number? Under it. The numbers seemed familiar. His mind flashed back to when he was still on the Pelican.

"Glad your awake 077! We will be landing soon. Get dressed, and hold your questions until we land." Was all the man said before leaving the room."

The man had called him 077. Wierd, why was he branded with a serial number? It didn't matter, as the man had said his questions would probably be answered later.

Rayden stuffed his holopad into his sweatpant's pockets, than put on his combat boots. He chuckled to himself imagining what the person had said when he was told to get his shoes.

"Size 10 for a 7 year old?"

Rayden finished tying up his boots than looked around the room. he sat down on his bunk, than pulled out his holopad. He twiested away than turned it on and started hacking into REACH's systems again...

Kage was doing his Jumping jacks simply. Geez ugly monkey. He said smileing at Mendez. Stupid Gorrila. He said grinning as his Jumping Jacks became easier and easier as he called Mendez names in his head. Dumb Primate! He said and slightly giggled as he continued his jumping jacks.

Raevynn turned to see the boy that had tried so hard to help her earlier. It seemed like he was having a good time. He giggled and by the looks of it, knew something she didn't know.

"Hey," She panted. "Thanks for trying to help me in there. You should have kept your big mouth shut." She finished. By now they had gotten to the number 50.

Ikki turned to Raevyn as he continued his jumping jacks. "Hey. No problem besides that guys is a jerk. My dad always told me to treat a lady with respect or they'll kill you. Didn't want you killing him." He said and continued his jumping jacks.

Rayden turned around and, completely immersed in his hacking had not even noticed that they had started doing jumping jacks. Rayden shutoff his holopad and slinked into the back of the group, were he started doing his jumping jacks.

Raevynn forced a weak smile. "Your dad must have been pretty smart. I owe you one." She said as Mendez neared the number 100.

Sorry it's so short. There's about to be a black out here so im afraid Im done for the night. You guys can control Mendez untill tomorrow. Have him make the spartans do a bunch of different exercises. After exercising they get a break and some water ^_^ Cya later guys!

Camilla did not make a fuzz about what had happened to her fellow children. Sure she was mad they were treated that way but she knew that she couldn't do anything since she was a small girl. Maybe someday when I'm bigger, I'll show them, she though to herself and went to the showers as told. She quickly took the shower and came back to find her new clothes, just like everybody else's she had her name on it and the number 110. She put them on and headed outside where silently she completed the 100 jump jacks they were asked to do. She then walked to Raevynn and Ikki and Alex.

- "I hope you are okay, we have to do what they say, no matter how strong you both are" - she said to Alex and Ikki and sighed - "But that stregth you have will get bigger as you get older just you wait and you will kick their butts" - Camilla said.

Miked walked out of the shower and slipped into his new clothes, "i hate jumping jacks" he sighed as he walked over to the others and began "Hey guys" said Mike giving a little Nod of the head

This mourning had been rough on Jacob now known as 086. It wasn't egtting up early he ahd done that forever or the military kind of stuff he had been on a military mining station. The excorise was nothing compared tio helping his dad mine.

The rough part had come from seeing him and all the other kids and how sick we all were for home Jacob hadn't even gotten the chance to pray this mourning.

Ikk smiled at Camilla. "But how come my parents never told me about this? They just woke me up and poured water on me. Then this guy picked me up and threw me in the car. And i came here i was scared the whole night. But i snuck a lot of my valuables with me." He said smileing and turned to the guy that shocked him. "He shocked a 6 year old. That's just mean and evil, i plan on running tonight you coming?" He said turning back to Camilla.

"Yeah... And that guy hurled me into a wall." Alex pointed to the very buff man.

Alex had done his jumping jacks in no time flat, not caring really anymore about the idiot trainers. He sighed and sat down next to the other two, and shrugged.

"Almost shot a guy on the way here, and then beat two others up... I don't see why they could've just told me..."
