These guys have a new album coming out this year sometime.

Fall of Troy's freshman album is their best. Blew me away. The lead singers scream is sort of annoying but besides that, everyone should give them a try.

I'm not a fan, but I'll they'll get some exposure on the Deftones tour.

They have a new album out.

I've given it a quick listen and I really like it. Quite a bit different from their previous work but you can still definitely tell it's them.

Only heard a few songs by them but I liked what I heard

I strongly dislike them. Mainly because of the vocals.

A lot of people do for the same reason.

I did at first too.

But then they kind of grew on me. Still not my favorite vocalist or anything, but the quality of the music as a whole compensates for that in my opinion.

Meh, if I want crazy awesome musicianship while ignoring the vocals I'll listen to Cryptopsy, Morbid Angel, Sadus, Dying Fetus or something like that. Which is basically never. I'm a stickler for good clean vocals. I guess that's just preference though.

Have you heard their Ghostship demos? Uncanny similarity to the Mars Volta sound. Really good stuff.
