Spiderman has Night Vision (No joke)
One of his upgrades after the Other.

To my knowledge, Wolverine doesn't have "night vision". He just has really good, enhanced eyesight that allows him better visibility even in extremely low-light situations. That, in addition to his other enhanced senses enable him to see a much clearer picture than most others. But not night vision.

olympian
No.

He just smells you before cutting your head off.

Brutacus
I agree he seems to use his nose a lot, the people with night vision that I know of are wildchild and beast.

Arahan
And Spiderman wink

Nah, those guys are right, he has better than human eyesight, but not nightvision

Grimm22
Nightvision?!?! laughing

Is that why he couldnt see the sentinal in astonishing x-men until lockhead arrived?!?! big grin

Solidus Snake
nightvision is just the ability to see in the dark, which wolverine can. obviously not in pitch black where there is no light at all, but he can see in very dark conditions.

I must admit I even didnt know that Beast or Wildchild had Nightvision.
But Spiderman....... stick out tongue

manjaro

King_Mungi
Wild Child has night vision?

manjaro
in fact just about all the feral types in marvel have nightvision. along with the requisite super humanly acute senses, and accelerated healing

King_Mungi
I double checked the handbooks, and yes Wild Child can see in absolute darkness

Hepzibah has night vision as well

xmarksthespot
Hepzibah had a feline physiology though.

I have night vision. So does Wolverine. But he can't see in pitch black.

manjaro
yes he can see in pitch black, cuz thats how night vision works...its the light already collected in his occular cells that enables him to shift his vision in the ultraviolet spectrum. however, and i think this is the point you're trying to make is proplonged exposure to absolute darness where there is no light after a while his vision will adjust and since there would no longer be an ambient light. not even a little bit, eventually the light built up in his eyes would eventually dissipate, and he wouldnt be able to see in the dark anymore

xmarksthespot
huh That's not how night vision works....

Why you didn't believe me big grin , and well beast can because he got cat's eye's now and well cat's can see in the dark, not total darkness but still it's a night vision.

Sabretooth's "nightvision". Wolverine's is the same.

That's more like thermal vision, he can see the body heat so it seems.

xmarksthespot
Sabretooth has feline characteristics. Retractable claws, amber irises, sharp teeh and pronounced canines. Wolverine doesn't, except for his claws which are very different from Sabretooth's. It's erroneous to claim their physiology exactly the same.

and whoever said that Spiderman has nightvision is wrong.....he can feel the vibrations in the dark...which lets him "feel" rather than "see" where things are

Sam Z
What is the number of issue where Spider-man throws Wolverine through the window and Wolverine recovers pretty fast?

please, anybody?

RogerRamjet
i don't really know if he can see better than a normal human in night time but he has a superb sense of smell very similar to that of dogs and wolves..so i can imagine that just canine do in the dark...they rely on their heightened sense of smell to "see"

Wolverine doesn't have night vision. In fact, it doesn't seem any better than a normal human's.

It's proven in Marvel Comics Presents where Wolvie and Ghost rider fight. Wolvie gets into a fight and knocks the lights out, he then says he can't see in the dark and he has to rely on his senses. He swung violently, falling over chairs and such trying to fight a guy with night vision goggles on.

So, the answer is no.

Swanky-Tuna
The answer for both Spider-man and Wolverine is: Depends on who's writing that day.

Creshosk
I can see in the dark.. course then again as was noted earlier.. I too am more feline physiology rather than Wolverine's more canine physiology...

Seems like Swanky is the only one that got it right.

Congrats, Swanky.
