Will Harley be in Batman 2 or The Dark Knight, which I read on SSH it'll be called?

If she is I think Brittany Murphy would be an excellent choice, what about you all?

Yeah, she has been rumored to be one of the characters in the movie. Same with Leslie Thompkins or Harvey Dent or the penguin or black mask or Rupert Thorne.

Also, the british actress Emily Watson was rumored to be Harley Quinn. Nolan and Bale loves her as an actress.

I'd like to see the whole Arkham crew. Quinzel (Murphy's perfect for it), Strange, Thompkins, Arkham himself maybe, cameo of Lyle Bolton as a security guard.

Hey, is there anyone out there who's able to do that workshop or photo manipulation thing? if so could you please!!! do some or any actress as Harley Quinn i'd really appreciate it... well of course if you'd like to show us what you can do.

Hmmmm. Brittany Murphy........that's a start. No one springs to mind.

I can't picture anyone as Harley... I still can't picture anyone as Joker either... but they went and got Heath Ledger to play him so....

Brittany Murphy is a WAY better suggestion than Emily Watson... but still just not right... plus she's in Sin City... there should be a one comic book movie franchise per actor rule or something... LOL!

I've always picture Reese Witherspoon as Harley. She has the spark and the exact grin as Harley.

I think it's too early to see Harley.

Joker is just being introduced.

I think they could work Harley's intro, they've done it so many times before, they'd have to get it right though and write the character's lines right, I liked how they did the Lex & Kitty relationship in Sups Returns, that's a prime example, no?

I agree completely... but when and if the time comes they will most likely just f*ck it up.... that's kinda why I don't want to see it happen anytime soon.

Harley would ruin the realism... NO WAY IN HELL would Nolan be that stupid... I hope... then again, he DID make Heath Ledger the Joker...

They could still have a Dr. Harleen Quinzel role in it though.

If Joker is locked in Arkham at the end, it would be cool if you see this female Doctor walk up to the glass of his cell and say "Welcome to Arkham. I'm your Doctor, my name is Harleen Quinzel"

I'd like to see two scenes with Harley. One scene with her sitting at a conference table with others like Strange and whatnot, where she says something along the lines of "some of these men are just...misunderstood" and then like you said Ock, a scene at the end where she talks to Joker, preferrably with him saying that line about how her name can be warped a bit. Then have her smile and blush, and have him give off a huge "I've got this ***** wrapped around my finger already" grin and possibly an evil laugh if its his last scene in the movie.

I love Harley... maybe that's why I don't want to see her in a movie yet... she will only be ruined by the experience, LOL!

I'm still thinking the best for the role is Brittany Murphy if they decide to throw Harley in. Emma Watson has too weird of a set of eyes lol.

The girl who was rumored to be Harley Quinn, or Harley Quinzel its Emily Watson, british actress from equilibrium, metroland, the red dragon, braking the wales or the boxer. I think that she could be right in the idea that Nolan has of Harley.

By the way , she is a wonderful actress and very cute.

I love Emily Watson... she will always be Angela from Angela's Ashes to me... and as much as I love her and respect her as an actress... she is a bit too old to play Harley... she should be someone in their mid to late twenties... plus Harley was a gymnast... I just can't see Emily doing all those stunts, even if it was a double... although she does have the look of Harley... in the face... if she were only younger!

I just don't think Harley should be in a new Bats movie... not if Nolan is trying to keep up the realism he seems to be going for with his movies... she's just a bit too outlandish for them.

I love emily too, she is a gret actress and very cute. And not that all , she is 39 now. Well, for the harley that we all know, she wont be right. But the rumour says that in the movie, the character will be only doctor harlenne quinzel, and maybe not harley quinn in this movie. But the great thing about emily, is that she looks younger than she is, she looks like a girl in her 20s. Also, i think that she could do the stunts, with the right traiining, she what halle berry could do in catwoman at thirsomething. But i think that harley will be different in the nolan movie as she is in the comics or in the tv series. And she has the harley look in her face, what is promising. Also, she has an amazing talent.

I think Emily looks way too old, and to be honest, in my opinion, I don't think she's that attractive. She looks kind of weather beaten and her eyes look fake, so that'd be too weird in a mask. I think she looks more like Harley's aunt or something lol.

Well, diffent opinions. Clearly, she isnt the classic hollywood beauty, but she is pretty in her own way. And for me, she looks younger than she is. For her face, she looks more a twenty something than a thirtysomething , as she is. But its a matter or opinion.

Also, for the past rumours, the harley quinn that nolan want in his own batman world isnt the same harley quinn from the comics and tv shows. We dont know even if she wears a mask or not.

I agree with Doc Potato; it's too early to intro. Harley Quinn since Nolan is just restarting the franchise

I agree, plus I just don't think she would fit in with Nolan's "Bat-verse"... he seems to be going for the serious and realistic thing and Harley is just a tad too wacky for it...

And even if they did tone her down and made her fit in some way I still feel it is WAY too early to introduce her... besides, our plate is kinda full with all the villains that's rumored to be in the next film... Harley would just push it even further over the edge.

brittney murphy MIGHT pull it off, but the best candidate for Harley is Juliette Lewis. She is even psychotic like Harley. She is young and with the right make up, pull of Harley is the best way ever

Hell No! Please No! Don't ruin the movie by putting in Harley Quinn! And besides, putting her in the movie would be a terrible idea since she wasn't even thought up when Joker first appeared on the scene. The only way I would accept her is if she is in the last scene, something like this...

The problem with that is most movie goers would not understand that ending.

Actually, that doctor harley quinzel idea was the one that the filmakers wanted to do in the movie. Not harley quinn as a clow, but yes as a female doctor.

And well, there are so many things in comic books movies that normal moviegoers doesnt understand because they doesnt read comics. When zaaz was in batman begins many of the moviegoers doesnt know who was him, and same with the centinel's head in x-men 3.

It's a shame, really. I really hate how comic book adaption films are dragged down because most people who go to see them never read a comic in their lives.

Like, for instance, if they made a Death in the Family film, the majority of the audience would have no idea what happened or why. They would think the killing Robin idea was new. I hate that with a passion. And that is another reason why some people liked Forever...they thought it was a good movie because they never read a Batman comic in their lives.

My sources tell me that Harley might be in The Dark Knight.

If so she won't be a villain yet, more of a doctor like you guys said (Brit. Murph all the way)

Britanny Murphy as a doctor. HAHAHAHAHAHA I think Chris Nolan has dropped the idea of Harley Quin or Harley Quinzel in TDK.

Amy Sedaris is funny and has the physical prowess to play her (she's a tumbler).

I may be proved wrong but I think Nolan won't go for putting Harley Quinn in his movies for the simple reason that she is an unnecessary character to show. She doesn't really offer anything except being a hyper-annoying crazy girl in a costume. We all know from Begins that doesn't fit Nolan's approach to Batman.

Anyway the first female villian in his movies should be Poison Ivy

We had Poison Ivy in Batman & Robin and look how that turned out.

Over the top hair does

Over the top acting.

Poison Ivy Should be dressed a bit like Mystigue in xmen. But Green with leaves stuck to her. And long flowing Red hair free with flowers.

Anyway I dislike Harley but if they do have her. A.j is my fave for the role. She even has a twisted but sweet smile.

I truly doubt that there will be a female villain in any Chris Nolan Batman film except Catwoman.

Yeah, but thankfully Nolan, or any director with an ounce of creativity could still use her character and make it seem real.

Joel Schumacher wasn't even trying to be realistic with his portrayal of Ivy, that much is completely obvious. Ivy as a character is not the problem its how the actress or director intends to show it.

I think an introduction similar to what u suggested would be really amazing. It could definitely set us up for the next movie. Nolan seems to know what he's doing w/ the Batman movies. I hope the Dark Knight is as good as Begins.

hopefully its as good as he original Batman movies (Burton) as htose were the best thus far
