ummm... sorry no, i don't know ne, if u really want to know u could ask a person who works at a pet store, my fish had babies, but i didn't mean for it to happen, it just did

Here's how I remember it... I put the words Sar and Orgasm together, then take out the org and add a C. ermm Works every time. tongue_ss

First you need your fish to be over a year old, as kids they look the same. When becoming mature, some differences in appearance between males and females become noticeable.

The females are larger then males of the same age (requiring that they have lived under the same circumstances from birth). They also develop a bigger butt as their eggs mature.
Females have a larger anal opening which protrudes slightly (don't start, sicko's) and a thicker anal fin.

The male will start to develop small white 'warts' on his gill plates and pectoral fins, but probably only when there is a mature female in his environment (the goldfish equivalent of a boner perhaps).

The dudes also chase the girls around when they both are ready for 'that thing'.
