Scythe
1968 led the way for one of my favorite cult horror films of it's time. The film stars a young Christopher Lee. it's main theme revolves around two Englishmen in 1920 out to save a few others from a devil worshipping cult in London. A special appearence by Baphomet can kinda be seen without flinching towards the end.

The film stood in the cutting room floor for five years until getting the green light in mid 1967 after worries of Satanism calmed down. It underwent a name change to "The Devil's Bride" which for some reason, didn't replace the movie's initial title. It was shown early 1968 to a small crowd, then later was publicized by the Hammer film corperation. A great film overall.
