If you ruled the world wouldn't it be a better place?

Seriously, if you ruled the world. Meaning you either made or appointed people to make every decision or law you wished, wouldn't it be a better place? What major changes would you make? I got a ton of ideas, but I'd start with forcing people to apply with me to reproduce. Me and my team would test for a certain level of intelligence/genetic physical fitness/common sense at about 21. Anybody who fails would be made sterile. For those who follow comics it'd be a lot like Dr. Dooms Latveria, but worldwide. What about you?

Absolutely! Rent "Planet of the Apes" to see how Dr. Zaius' world vision translates into a beneficient world order.

I'd like to rule like King Ashoka of India, who based his rule on Dharma[Law] not by Force, who unified peace across Indian subcontinent and as well as neighboring western counrties.

It would be a better place - for people who think like me. For everybody else - it would be hell.

Well, you might maybe want to consider your standpoint then...

If I'd change the world some people might disagree with it, but overall it would be trying to be the best for humankind as a whole and also as a whole in the future.

I don' t harbour illusions that things would be better under my leadership. Things that seem good to me may completely be unacceptable from someone else' s point of view. You can' t please everyone all the time.

Things would be better for people who harbor the same values with me, such as social, political and economic. The values I think would be better.

Others will have hell, because they don't agree.

I didn't say I would purposly make people's lifes hell.

I believe in global communism, legalisation of drugs, end of death penalty...etc. and not EVERYONE will agree.

I don't know how many people will hate it - maybe a great majority will like it. But the sad fact of life is that not everyone will. There are ALWAYS people who will hate it.

I would obviously do what I think is better for everyone, but NOT EVERYONE will agree.
