setting= around 1 in the morning on a cold morning in New York City.

Permission?

An earsplitting shriek.
And then, silence….
An eerie silence, a silence that seemed to reek of death….

A motionless figure was slumped over in the dark ally, in the dark of night it would be nearly impossible to see that the man was white as a sheet.
Every fluid seemed to have been drained from his pitiful, lifeless form.
A slim figure stood beside the corpse. Her long, straight, amber hair hung over her thin shoulders. Long, angled, bangs fell over her right eye.
A pair of well-fitting designer jeans was worn on her slim legs, a white tank top was worn over her thin torso, a somewhat large black trench coat was worn over her flawless frame.
The pale moonlight seemed to reflect on her even paler skin.
Her yellow, cat-like eyes, stared blankly at the motionless corpse…. with almost a look of regret…
She closed her yellow orbs, with something of a frightened breath. She turned, no longer looking at the lifeless form beside her.
She shuddered lightly, hastily wiping the blood from the corners of her mouth.
And with that, she walked away… Only the clatter of her black leather pumps could be heard… It was an eerie sound…a freakish sound…a supernatural sound….
