Has it always been 10000 bytes?

I've tried to change it like 10 times and each one's been too big, never had this problem before

It's always been 10k, as long as I can remember.

I had that problem the other day. I converted a picture to 100x100 and it still wouldn't go in.

I too also get this problem occasionally.

Just put your picture in KMC's avatar creator and it will change the file size to below the quota.

Happens to me too, I just round the size down to about 9k.

FYI - 10000 bytes is not equal to 10k

The server (being a computer and all) checks to make sure the file is 10000 or less - not one byte over.

Right Raz... as 1KB is equal to like 1024 bytes.... if my memory serves correctly.
