What do you guys think of the upcoming fight?

I'm unsure , Magician seems to be a walking plot device. He's like the ultimate Gary-Stu and then some......

What are his powers??????? I haven't collected Ultimate X-men recently, I'm waiting for the trade paperback

I dunno, i dropped this book awhile back. It's really gone downhill IMO.

But i agree that Magician so far seems to be a walking plot device, so he'll probably win that way.

He can warp reality , so basically his powers are bullshit that only really comes into play when necessary.

The past couple arcs have been complete crap. This... is no exception.

I think Magician is cool. I like Ultimate X-Men. And the good thing is Magician's powers are not fully revealed....And the way he owned the X-Men was just cool

well wiki says that he's the only ultimate who doesnt have a 616 counterpart, but at frist i was totally willing to say exdous, and then i thought prtotues but colossus already killed him, and it certianly couldnt be nate grey, but to me it seems like he's just some wannabe who warped reality to make it look like he killed his parents, and was captured by shield just so he could get on the team...

but a powerful guy like that is gonna find super heroics to be lame after awhile, especially with everyone always telling him what to do plus the way he grandstands and hog the spotlight im sure the rest of the xmen will get sick of him really soon, then b4 you know it he storms out of the team and magneto recruits him...so who knows maybe he will turn out to be exodus of sorts

Unsure , all it say's in the wiki is 'he doesn't have a 616 counterpart' .

The story lines so far have been shit , because (Much like Ult Spiderman) their rushing to get to Ult Cable.

I think Kirkman has saved the book from the utter crap it became once BKV came aboard.

Kirkman is the only writer besides Bendis to really get the Ultimate X-men right.

BKV sucks at books he didnt create.

And Millar just plain out sucked in his run.

Millar's run is great. It IS the Ult. X-Men. And Vaughn's run was every bit as good.

This title's always been one of the better Marvel titles. It's had great art and solid writing all the way through, like an Ultimate book should. Since Kirkman and Raney came on board it feels like just another X-Book, and a sub-par one at that.

But yeah, that's just my opinion.
