Christianity as we know it is just a bunch of pagan elements merged together by the constantine to establish a religion that would allow the citizens of the empire to live in peace, and come under his rule.

Judaism, originally was a form of mysticism, called the kabbalah.

I disagree with you all, Religion is indeed created by man, it is also created for man, the question is WHY?

Clearly for religion to be so strong a force it means that we all must feel there is some sort of higher power, or a being beyond our capabilities...this doesn't mean any particular religion is correct or even close to God, but that is why people have Faith.

I believe in God, I don't know why but I assure you all that it's a helpful thing which does infact lend you strength, now perhaps I'm just finding strength inside myself rather than getting it from God, I can't be sure, but I am sure of one thing, real or un-real it is a very handy concept indeed.

That was deep, Deano, good accusation. It is easier for man to believe in religion because 1) it is a conscious choice to follow it and 2) thousands of others believe along with him. Anyways, a conspiracy would mean that religion was made for the purpose of lynching someone or getting more gold than the other guys or whatever. Religion is so people can feel like they have a goal that doesn't include 'I'm going to be an astronaut!' or 'I'm going to make billions when I'm 65!'

Exactly, religon can be be a rock or a cruch or whatever you need it to be, but ultimatly it's just a way to express your own personal faith...

I think its important to seperate false religion and TRUE religion.

I don't believe any religion is actually false, religion is just a vessel for people faith...however it is practiced, ultimately we all believe in the same being...

that's rather vague. by something else, I assume you mean something else of equal or greater magnitude? Religions encompass all races....as do they political parties.....so how could any of these much smaller pieces of a whole create as much conflict as the whole itself?

If you did not mean of greater or equal magnitude, I fail to see how it could be referred to as a red herring.......as Religion would cause more war and unrest than any of the smaller issues you mentioned. There may still be fighting and war........but less is still an improvement.

National Socialism wasn't a religion, it was a political ideal.

who's talking about national socialism? Look:-the christian religion is based on the blood line leading from david to Jesus, Jesus said and did lots of cool things, inspirational things and he added a law "love your nieghbour like you would yourself" or something like that. If someone doesn´t strive to follow that, then THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIAN, therefore you can´t use various aspects of bad practices like christians killing each other, priests molesting children or whatever to attack or put down this religion.

Catholics for example are not christians, but a false cult religion. Thier priests cannot marry although it is written "go forth and multiply", they pray to and use Mary as some sort of God in her own right and beleive Jesus is God even though Jesus reprimanded his followers for attempting to worship himself. "worship the father not me" " he also prayed to God on numerous occasions, why would he pray to himself. And what was the second commandment? "You shall not make for yourself a graven image..." etc. What do you find in churches all over the world? graven images of various things!!

I only use the Catholic religion as an example, most others have just as many holes.

But there are actually people who strive to do whats right by the bible, to be proper christians. May seem odd in this world but Ive met a few, and to put these in the same boat as other lunatics is wrong IMO.

Hitler appeared to live in perpetual fear of the ‘supermen’. Rauschning told how Hitler suffered from terrible nightmares and would wake in terror screaming about entities who were invisible to all but him. Hitler once said to his aide:

There will be a class of overlords, after them the rank and file of the party members in hierarchical order, and then the great mass of anonymous followers, servants and workers in perpetuity, and beneath them again all the conquered foreign races, the modern slaves. And over and above all these will reign a new and exalted nobility of whom I cannot speak... but of all these plans the militant members will know nothing. The new man is living amongst us now! He is here. Isn’t that enough for you? I will tell you a secret. I have seen the new man. He is intrepid and cruel. I was afraid of him.”

This is the society planned by the reptilians and their reptile-Aryan master race if we allow the New World Order to be introduced in the next few years.

The German researcher, Jan van Helsing, writes in his book, Secret Societies Of The 20th Century,10 of how the Vril and Thule societies believed they were corresponding with extraterrestrials through two mediums known as Maria Orsic and Sigrun in a lodge near Berchtesgaden in December 1919. channellings were transmitted from a solar system called Aldebaran, 68 light years away in the constellation of Taurus where two inhabited planets formed the ‘Sumeran’ empire. The population of Aldebaran is divided into a master race of blond-haired, blueeyed, Aryans, known as Light God People and several other human-like races which had mutated to a lower genetic form due to climatic changes, the channellings said.
The Aryan Light God People began to colonise Earth-like planets after theirs became uninhabitable. In our solar system it was said that they first

The details may change in each version, but here we see the same basic theme yet again. A blond-haired, blue-eyed master race of extraterrestrials land on the Earth from Mars and become the gods of ancient legend. In terms of propaganda it is an excellent opportunity, as stated by Goebbels, but Hitler never believed in the Atlantas Theory that was put forward by Himmler...and thats just the way it is...Hitler was very much a naturist who believed in survival of the fittest and the Darwinian world...

Religion is simply multiple people who all believe in a similar thing. There's nothing wrong with that. However, some people see religion as a way for them to make profit, or get something they want, as opposed to worshipping something in harmony with other people. So they twist it to there own means.

Religion can be related to a gun, in a sense.

I have read the bible, all 52 books (the Lutheran Bible...) and while I myself am a Christian, and believe in God and what not, I don't doubt the possibility that religion is a conspiracy. While there are many different "bibles" and "gods" basically everyone believes there is only one god. One you may think of that doesn't believe in one god is the Buddhists. But technique each "god" is a face of the "Almighty ruler." Meaning they're all the same god. While they each have their differences, they all contain the same basic principle.

Yes, thats true. As I said earlier, its people that twist religion to there own means. And I think Catholism (sp) is a victim of that.

It my opinion all religions are al load of crap, reason being its just a form of control dating back thousands of years, its to get people to be good little citizens, not saying thats thats wrong but religions were just send out as a way of controling those who believe.
As a result millions have died for their religion, they think absurd things (to my mind) and its just another way of making people do crazy things.
If tommrow all religions were abolished, its might not be a bad thing.
