The rules are simple

I'm going to pick 12 Jla members, each with a catagory

You must pick 12 avengers from thier PREVIOUS Rosters or Aformentioned roster, and put them in the same or close to the same catagory as thier JLa counter part, and see if you can make an Avengers team that could not only match the JLA in power, but in skill and tactics. Your counter part does not have to battle thier counter part to the jla, iF you can come up with a viable way your avengers can defeat this jla. Every one is in Full swing and using all of thier non- plot device powers and thier regular Weapons. No God force or God Wave. No Sundipping. No turning people into frogs. Ect. Yada yada yada.

Well I made a statement that the Jla was simply the best. And I meant that they were the most powerful team in comics history. ANd I got that from wizard. So I wanted to see if the avengers had it in thier roster to actually defeat the Jla.But I think ur team is good. but it has some people who can't hang in the end. Wolverine ain't hanging with no one in the jla, jack of hearts and human torch get killed in three 2nd's flat. Every one else imo is very good tho.

It's been awhile since the JLA were even the strongest team in DC. Most JSA rosters have them trumped.

Be serious. I'm trying to prove a point. I just want to see if the Avengers have it in thier roster to be as powerful and tacticle as the JlA has been. Personally I think Captain America is the best field Leader in comics in str8 battle mode with Nightwing coming in a close 2nd. But what about figuring stuff out. Or making plans once a loss has been handed out. This is the Avengers i'm look for. I have a roster in mind, but I don't know if they could do the trick. i'm waiting to see what people come up with.

This is a good one, but I sill see quicksilver as a weak link. and Jack of hearts as the 2nd weakest link. After thier opponents dispatch of them fairly quickly, they would be free to help thier teamates and pull a win for the Jla.

The Avengers get some serious muscle with so many gods, eternals, and a cosmic Binary and quasar. This could be the very best match of all time.

Where is your leader and who is the Human element to the team? Other wise your team is good. Don't hink reed richards would be doing anything more than being pulled apart by batman freezing him and cracking him. Batman already knows how to beat plastic man, reed won't do any better and probably would do worse.

NO Rune King Thor. ANd Iron man would probably be a liability agiainst this jla. FireStorm or Maxima woudl turn his suit into jello. Or maxima with matter manipulation Tk would change it or use her magnetism powers to take over his armor. He would leave the avengers with a hole and the Jla would exploit that. ANd Beta Ray Bill was never an Avenger.

Sentry/Thor/Hulk/Gilgamesh/Captain Marvel/Moondragon/Quasar/Sersi/Captain America more then make up for their counterparts... to these ends, it would be a near even battle. Flash would have a hard time fighting another speedster that has unstable molecules and can travel through time also. However it is the unreal powers of Scarlet Witch and Starhawk that win it. Scarlet Witch altered the entire universe with her powers. And Starhawk went up against Korvac and stalemated him....

All of my guys are guaranteed Avengers members not like some of these other responses... cough.

Jack Of Hearts was able to KO Pagan, a tough Class 100 guy who throwed down with Thor, he can absorb all forms of radiation, and manipulate them, he can see radiation just like we can see colors, he has great flight speed, and his energy projection has showed to be very high.He won't go down fast.

How can you just alter the rules anytime you see fit? the thread stipulations was Avengers past and present, the best team your able to create. Considering the fact That Thors most recent power lv depicted was RKT, he should be able to be used.

Orion isn't the strongest on the DC team, he's the most powerful though

not really, not sure who's stronger really, their strength is unpredictable, but I'd say between superman and orion are the most strongest on their team. strength has got nothing on power

Orion is the physically strongest memeber on the DC team, he also controls the astro force which he can use to amp his strength even further. He is also the most durable. Able to battle Darkseid for weeks on end in ceaseless battle.

Where is your leader and who is the Human element to the team? Other wise your team is good. I think Reed Richards gets creamed in two seconds flat. And WHen I said human, I mean that, a human being with no super powers. Every body else on your team is pretty good. Now match them up against my jla and be fair about it.

but Rune King Thor was not an Avenger, he quit the team when all that happend to go and rule Asgard (and later take over the earth)

Black Panther is a very good leader too. I dont' know about battle field tactics and all with superheroes. But he can run an army so I"m sure he would be good. Plus he's fast and sneaky enough to meet batman on his lvl. I"m trying to look at ur roster and see how I would do the match ups.

I didn't even alter the rules.lol. I said in the beginning no crazy insane powers or anything like that. If Rune king thor would have been allowed, i could have made the jla consist of a Goddess of Truth Wonder Woman wielding the Godwave, Superman Prime, Batman 1M, Flash from kingdome come, Parallax, ect.
