ahh..days of the sixth grade where us bandana clad girls would spend our middle school days humming along to the Spice Girls. I don't know how the Spice Girls Mania was recieved in the US at the time, but back there in Egypt, them along with all the boy bands of the moment were the biggest thing.

The reminding of SG in this other thread brought forth a fresh wave of nostalgia. I literally wanna get up and sing.

i came back to europe from my highschool senior year..in the summer of '96 when they (Spice Girls) burst the scene...the songs were crap, the act was annoying..when i first saw them i never imagined they'd be annoying me any longer than that summer...

thank God tool and the Stone Temple Pilots released albums of their own that same year...it made that year bearable for me...
