who wins this hell of a battle

1)pre retcon beyonder
2)basic beyonder

juggernaut66666
Beyonder has easily beaten dr doom who has stolen galactus full power that time

Co-signed.

darthgoober
Galactus has no chance agaist either(especially at 80%)

Tshern
Pre retcon Beyonder has this in the bag

Current one would probably lose. Not without a fight, though.

thedude1948
I dont care about the #1
But the Real Beyonder would be smashed by any Galactus if he is not starving.

galan7777777
beyonder wins easily

The in-continuity Beyonder wouldn't be a challenge for Galactus at 80%. No challenge at all. I'm not even sure she'd make 25% Galactus (Galan after he's fed on a world) break a sweat.

Thanos_THOTU
Galactus would cumberstomp Beyonder any day.

Stupid Rookie
Since when is a cosmic cube higher than galactus? I am confused.

Pre-Ret ok, yeah, but post. No way

rotiart
I'd go beyonder both ways...

Pre Retcon beyonder.. power of millions of multiverses...
Current beyonder... just his residual energy causes a watcher universes away to go blind... and countless other effects....

galactus at 80% is nothing to classic beyonder. Current beyonder would crush galactus also...

Not just the power of the multi-verses, but all power within them as well.

So are you saying that Galactus is weaker than a celestial?

rotiart
No. Why? Did a celestial beat the beyonder?

Kubik said in a FF annual (Forgot which one probably 23 or something) that him and the Beyonder were nothing compared to a Celestial, and they would be killed if the Celestial judged against them. Luckily the Celestial let them live.

That was #26 actually, and that was Kubik and Kosmos.

80% Galactus = 80% of the Universe

Kill Galactus = Abraxas and the end of the Multi-verse

Now in #27 (the next issue)

Post-retcon Beyonder is an intrinsic part of the Multiverse.

As a Cosmic Cube (post-retcon Beyonder can warp a pocket Universe)

As Post-retcon Beyonder outside of Kosmos (his full potential is Universal but his status is Multiversal)

Kill Post-retcon Beyonder = Collapse of the Multi-verse.

Mr Master
80% Galactus defeats Post-retcon Beyonder as Kosmos.

80% Galactus defeats Post-retcon Beyonder outside of Kosmos, but not before a great battle between the two

80% Galactus kills (Post-retcon Beyonder outside of Kosmos) and the Multi-verse collapses and kills 80% Galactus along with it.

(Post-retcon Beyonder outside of Kosmos at full potential) defeats 80% Galactus

In short: Beyonder works as a pillar for the Multi-verse.

rotiart
Um... fear my master... the shinobi of the dragon!

thedude1948
The only evidence that the multiverse will be destroyed if he dies is a vague comment by Kubik. He doesnt exactly say the multiverse would be destroyed either. He could have been lying to save her too.

Exactly.

But what's comical is that Kosmos is Post-retcon Beyonder evolved, yet Post-retcon Beyonder is FAR more dangerous than Kosmos laughing out loud

It's the essense of the Beyonder that seems to have this Universe destroying power (Annihilation series as the Maker),

Thanos knew of the Maker's potential

Thanos says his only recollection of the Beyonder or Kosmos is Unlimited power...he repeats this.

This is Thanos after having possessed a Cosmic Cube that made him a Universe...after having the Infinity Gauntlet that made him "God"...after having THOU...which absorbed Living Tribunal.

This is how the Maker ended up "Dead"...

Beyonder, (Maker) still imposing limitations like his PRE era, takes on Mortal Form.

"The Mind is Dead...Do NOT kill the body"...This is in order to keep the essence of the Beyonder in prisoned within the Maker.

Keep her body alive.

"a Living Prison"

"The ONLY prison capable of containing the Beyonder...it's essence"

"had we killed the Maker Form? The prisoner goes free"
http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/9929/makernotdead2bn5.th.jpg
"We would of ENABLED the thing we'd sought to prevent (the destruction of the Universe that is)

In this Thanos series, the Maker could have imploded the Universe on a whim if it had not gone mad.

And Post-retcon Beyonder's existence has gained an importance that can wreak havoc across the Multiverse were he to die.

"to rend the Life Force of such a being as the Beyonder"

Really?

I thought it was very straight forward:

Kubik BEGS the Molecule Man to not allow the Beyonder to die, which would bring forth the END of Reality.

Are these more "vague" comments?

Didn't the Beyonder just get killed in SS when Aegis and Tenebrous broke out of their prison?

That's what they thought, I just showed you the reality up above in my prior post.

Read the scans.

Read the scans. So Anni: SS #3 is either another retcon, or the Maker/Beyonder really isn't dead somehow. I'm swinging toward a retcon.

The Maker never died.

This is how the Maker "supposedly" ended up "Dead"...as you can see, it's NOT TRUE.

It just seems dead in Annihilation #1
