That's where I got mine from. Books-A-Million

coolmovies
ohh ok thanks

moviefreak_173
What do you consider a good price range?

coolmovies
10-12 pounds but i saw one for 50

thefallen544
Depends, you can buy the individual books seperate as in
Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the King each costing about £6.99. I got them from Ottakars bookshop.
And if you want further reading, well then it gets into higher money simply because there's a lot.

Flying High
i stole mine from my brother stick out tongue

I've only got crappy versions that cost £6.99 each and I bought them from Tesco haha! Oh you work there don't you haha! But they don't sell them there anymore, I bought them when the films were out. Oh yeah thefallen said up there ^^ I want a really good copy though. I shall buy one when I'm older yes

I just looked on the Waterstones website, well it's Amazon but Waterstones works with it and you can buy all three for £13.20 which is good. Don't think you'll get them much cheaper than that unless they're from those other things on Amazon if they have any.

Edit: Oh no wait I found another one on there for £11.21 (weird price messed)

coolmovies
ya we did sell them but i wanted the whole book ! Not seperate . Thats why i didnt buy them now we dont sell them anymore .

thefallen544
See getting the whole book in one now probably means your looking at the 50th Anniversary Edition (I think thats the one) which is why its a high price.

coolmovies
ya but there are two types one is red and the other black !

That's the one that's on Amazon that I said was £11.21. It was white though, not black or red. That's a really good price.

coolmovies
ya but its a gold cover the 50th Anniversary one is far too expensive

I got mine from my mom, who bought this collector's set like 15 years ago. It had the Hobbit, too. I love that book. I must have read it like 8 times

coolmovies
8 times !!!!!!! u must be a fast reader

Hammad Ahsan
I got mine for US. $ 8.95, or sumthing around that, a one volume edition. I read the rest of the stuff, borrowing the books, as Tolkien books are difficult to find here and then I downloaded it all, as many tolkien books as I could find wink
