You should really be more specific about the fight situation, ie, location and weaponry available

It's a fight, all out fight. No weapons like Ares needs them.

He might against Wonder Man... he doesn't have the feats yet to suggest he can take out WM with his bare hands

Ares is a better fighter than his brother Hercules not as strong but strong enough, just as durable as his brother he is a God, especially as a God of War. Ares went head up with Thor and gave Thor a run for his money more than once, Thor owns Wonder Man. Ares will win the majority due ti his strategic skills, and master of different fighting styles.

How strong is Ares?

Depending on what happens to Ares in the near future, he may be able to beat Simon handily. Form what I hear, Bendis will show Ares to be superior to Thor in battle soon.

Seriously thats just embarassing for the God of War to lose to a Thunder God, seriously suck.

Ares is a class 75 type guy

Thor is a son of Skyfather-Odin and Elder God-Gaea, Thor beat Ares in brute strength and also in skill.

Basiclly Thor is Superman, Ares is Orion, Thor and Ares are going to be equals. The Mighty Avengers are going to be one sick ass team with these two on the same team.

yeah yeah I know the story of Thor, still when you lose in martial combat when you are the God of war its time to rethink your job huh.
