Supes is after Mxyzpltk - he injured lois with a prank that went 2 far.
MXYZPTLK - gathers up supermans enemy's to bring him down.
supes has as much rest as needed after a match.

and extract revenge on MXYZ - mxyz is weakened - and has a bit of brain damage - so its easier for superman to out wit him.

supes is enraged though so he could take some of them down right

Cuz if Zod and Superman are equals, he stops him. Cold.

If Supes is bloodlusted, he makes it to 8 with relative ease.
The problem is Mxy. Outside of trickery, there isn't any way for him to win....and if he's bloodlusted...he won't be in a thinking mood.
