Well played X. I reckon its been theonly X title worth reading since the Morisson run. Although i have hopes for Uncanny, now Ed's is on the case. Apparently the first issue wasn't so great though.

The first two issues of Uncanny were fine but the Vulcan issue was lame. Then again, I think Vulcan is a lame character so it might just be me.

nobody knows, but apparently it was designed by xavier and it has something in there he doesnt want anyone getting their hands on. my first thought was that it was some remnant of onslaught, but that would require the manger to be psychically sealed as well, and kitty phasing through it would be utterly pointless.

Emma Frost makes this series sooo worth it.

well the fact that its shaped like a sarcaphagus(sp) means there is some ONE or something humanoid in it...either way something the hellfire club seek to use for thier own ends, since the last time onsluaght was here it took just about every super hero team in america to stop him, so i know the new HC has a total of 4 telepaths(emma, perfect, nova, and the gothic chick) but i dont think they would be powerful enuff to subdue onslaught so thats kinda out the window...and dnager is on her own doind her own thing now so i think its somethig new altogerther, i think massive and clever retconned is at work here

Funny enough Selene is still part of the Hellfire Club and she hasn't shown up as one of Emma's imaginary friends..

but the thing is since the departure of both jean and the professor emma is the one utilizing cerebra, and even schooling the cuckoos how to use it. plus since the school have been destroyed like a million times cerebro/a had to be rebuilt on a number of occasions, and hank is the one in charge of that sometimes forge..so if they wanted to build one of thier own Emma would already have that in her brain, plus for more technical details, she could always rip it from froge and hank's mind...so i think cerebro is out of the window too

Actually, its funny, Wolverine's childhood origin is heavily based off the childhood of President Theodore Roosevelt, who was basically a weak sick child, and he grew up to be a gun tootin' badass

"cassandra" explained it differently in an earlier issue. instead of facing them with "their worst fears," she seemed to be erasing these facades that they'd built up. hank was slowly losing himself to his feral side, but was fighting to maintain his humanity and intellect. traits of this showed up in the danger arc. cassandra simply stopped him from "pretending" to be a man. on the same token, logan's brass and bluster was all an act, according to nova's reasoning, and she simply brought him back to who he truly was. it's a similar tactic to "facing their greatest fears," but scott's logic is just slightly off from cassandra's. and if "she" was the one orchestrating it, i suppose "she" would know.

"cry me a river, *****." ha, i didn't think they were allowed to use ***** in non-max books. i suppose "T+" has some leeway, though noone REALLY looks at those ratings.

she's not real, none of the hfc are, they're all figments of emma's imagination, but being a telepath, she can make them seem as real as anyone else...

i figured..i mean it was clearly obvious that colosuss was figting himself, and that makes me happy but i thought at th very least the others were real..especially since they were having conversations with themsleves while emma wasnt even there..but nova is a very powerful telepath so i guess i have to accept it

Nah there's nothing missing...that's Kruun a Powerlord on Breakerworld.

they actually make a point of referencing that later in the issue, where brand admits to having told ord the coordinates on purpose. it's just a strange transition.

The latest issue was still very good, but the writing didn't pack quite the punch as earlier issues. I suppose that's more a result of the set up for the coming arc.

this is the first time in whedon/cassady's run that i've been disappointed by an issue. it's an opener, after all, but still. i'm a little surprised.

Thanks for the scans but most of the pages are not working. when i try to open it my netscape says "The Connection Was Refused When Attempting To Contact Img..." I also tried it with another internet explorer and it still didnt work!!

It was good as usual. I have to agree with some critics who've noted the pacing is a bit slow; but on the whole clever writing, good art. Still enamored with Whedon and Cassaday.

cyclops is the coolest mother****er i comics under whedon's pen. everyone should write cyclops like whedon.

i've never had this with a comic before... you wait and wait, and get so angry at how late it is, and then you finally read it and realise how f*cking worth the wait it was...

excellent issue, and the finale should be a cracker...

also, it seems that cyclops is finally in vogue... no more having to defend him... thank f*ck for that...

and imo, the fact that everything in the issue was all part of his plan, means imo that he's pushing cap as best leader in marvel...

I'm liking Tan's visor design, except the fact it sort of floated around his face from page to page.

its not wanking, AT ALL. he hasn't even done much in the last few issues, and everything he has done has been well within his capabilities.

cyclopes is the man focus of the issues most of them. Not saying it a bad thing, but honestly the stories are overrated. I never thought any of the issues were that amazing at all. sure cyclopes is written cool, that does not make it an amazing issue.

............whedon may be the best writter for certain characters certainly not all of them.

I liked a lot of other x-men runs a lot better.

I think the recent story has been meh nothing overly good. only thing I thought was cool was that scot had planned his whole death.

also I liked cyclopes better after he was apoc thing. He was bad ass then as well, but in my opinion he was more bad ass and cooler.

it true astonishing has been the best x-men book out there recently. x-men has been crap recently. astonishing is good and even in a different era they be consider good, but I think there overrated and xmostly due to the fact, the other x-men stories have been pritty awful.

Its a pretty good series. My only problem is I don't really care for the characters from the breakworld.

thought lockheed being an alien and no one knowing it was dumb...........though lockheed kinda dumb idea anys ways lol.
