How tall are the Tripods ?

I mean Wells does an excellent job on describing their features and general shape but not alot about their height except some vague idea that they could be taller then a house or towering over big ben ?

Anyone have anything that could help or some kind of idea about their height ?

Not sure. They were tall enough to stand in shallow water and still tower over the ships (like that war ship that destroyed three of them). I'm guessing something like 100-200 feet high?
