I need to finish off some work , unfortunatly to do this i need the details*/names of a few murder cases that were solved by forensic science.

Does anyone know of any cases ?

rightly or wrongly. Jill Dando's murder. One of the largest murder investigations Scotland Yard ever launched. I think it was solved by residue that connected the accused (Barry George) to a firearm even though the one that was used was never recovered. The verdict surprised everyone as it was thought that there was not much evidence. But this small amount of forensic evidence and quite a lot of circumstancial evidence (like George's obsession with newsreaders for which there was much evidence of in his flat). But the forensic evidence was the key. Without it, there would have been no case.
