The Magus vs Thanos

They fought before and Magus won, but Thanos has had massive upgrades since then, so how would it go down now?

(classic) Magus w/Soul Gem(but no soul absorption)

(current) Thanos

Who takes it?

A good fight.

One that would probably take three comics to complete.

I personally like Magus' attitude more. In fact I probably like him more overall but I give an edge to Thanos.

This is strictly opinion based. I have no facts to back my claim.

Magus won?

Magus is like (GEB of Presence) dark side of Adam.
Thanos could take him if he wasent allowed to use the gem.

Magus is like Thanos, in that he is ALWAYS prepared.
He is also super-intelligent, very powerful, and very versatile.
If there is one character out there that woulkd be able to throw a few curveballs to Thanos, it is Magus.

Too long, because Thanos has had some powerups since then.

Plus he wasn't doing to bad to Magus even back then.

Magus would probably win, but only if he used the Soul Gem more creativly then users usually do.
