The setting is the same place where Obi-Wan fought Grevious in Episode III, except there are no droids or anything around. Its just the two of them.

No Force Powers.

Just Lightsaber dueling.

Who wins?

Revan is probably good with a saber. He defeated Star-Forged Jedi-powerd Malak, and Malak definately uses his saber. General Grievous does have his droid ability to notice patterns in his enemies attack, however I believe Revan might be able to take down the droid general.

In straight up lightsaber combat...Grievous wouldn't be able to defeat Revan.

I think he could, and I highly doubt their would be any WTFpwning either.

darth revan, because its me! my revan in the game owned everyone out of sight. i beat malak without losing any health lol.

Well that doesn't really matter. My friend is stuck at Malak, can't beat him no matter what he does.....


Since Grievous was able to near stalemate Mace Windu, I'd put him around or above Revan's level, the fact that he with only 2 lightsabers took out 5 jedi at once, with not to much difficult really, is highly impressive.

Stalemate Windu? Is this before or Windu force crushed him? And please, Grievous got beat by Obi Wan

Yup, in labyrinth of evil, he stalemated Windu in swordsmanship, almost at least. This was before...

And please, that was a worse Grievous (except if we're going by ROTS Grievous), and Obi had the perfect style against Grievous, and was as good as possible with that style....

Did I say so? No, and as said before, Obi and Anakin is a TOTALLY different case. We actually know how the Grievous vs Mace fight went, and they were close in swordsmanship. However, Obi prevailed because Anakin was furious and blinded by his anger, and the fact that he trained Anakin from the beginning, and knew his flaws well. Last time I checked, Mace didn't train Grievous....


And since when was Anakin better than the likes of Yoda, Mace and Sidious?

Nobody said he was, but he was on their level with them. And again, Obiwan skull****ed Grievous.

My apprentice is right. Revan would carve Grevious open like a Thanksgivingday turkey.

I doubt it. He has killed like, 20+ Jedi total, taken on multiple opponents, and, the only way I see Revan winning is if he used lightning, but, seeing as how his lightning "Comes from the sky," I don't see him frying Greivous before Greivous jumps over to him and engages in saber combat. I doubt that Revan would win, but, he'd give him a tough fight. Greivous wins more likely than not.

I fail to see how tactics would make you supernatural and fast enough to kill someone with reflexes and speed above most jedi in one second.

it takes more than one second to say that and besides Revan isn't the type to chat it up so while GG is being arrogant Revan WTFpwns him

Revan can hold off Grievous with the saber and with the Force destroy him. Unlike normal Force Lightning which comes directly at you, Revan's comes up and down, thus surprising Grievous, who would be expecting a direct attack. While Grievous is being electrified, Revan could use his other abilities and then defeat Grievous.

So you think GG is gonna stand there and talk while Revan runs up to him? Not gonna happen. We shouldn't take these things to account for, like "Jedi don't strike first, so I doubt Kyp would attack DE Sidious first, which means he can make a force storm and win". We aren't talking about "Revan's lucky day" or "possibly idiot GG", they are just plainly fighting to the best of their ability....


And for your information, GG was one hell of a tactician...

Normally i wouldn't argue against this but this is without the force saber only other wise this thread would be pointless

Saber combat, hmm. Grievous has the ability to percieve his opponent's moves. However, Mace Windu defeated him, and Revan is on the same league as Windu (I am not going to argue this, but see ROTS Obi and Revan vs. Mace and Kyle Katarn).
