My Dad has recently messed with my P.C while he was trying to fix it. Now its fine except he put ina symstem in my P.C which eh says ahs to stay but I can't access the inertet properly because the subnet mask is still the same. I need to know how to put your subnet mask to a number where it will except other IP addresses.

Theres a lot of information your leaving out so lets get them shall we...

1) Do you have a router
-If so then you should be recieving an IP address from your router which should be set to DHCP so you can receive one.

-If not then your PC should still be set to DHCP so it can get a IP address from your ISP.

2) What kind of internet connection do you have (example: Broadband, Dial up, DSL)

3) What kind of progam did your dad install that has to stay on your PC. (im guessing its to see what you do)
