Im sure some of you have seen this,but for those who havnt enjoy.

Pretty sad that a few highschool kids can put together a better choreographed duel then Lucas did for EP3....the ending to this duel is also better then Annakins death in Ep3

A Lightsaber dual alwalys has a story involved with it. These kids with nothing better to do may have made it look somewhat good.

In any lightsaber dual in SW, there was alwalys feeling and story behind it. I'd rather watch a saber dual with actual meaning to it, rather than just an action film....

you think most of the pt duels had actual tangible meaning? in the context of emotion and the choreography itself, not just in the result, or what was at stake...

As good as those kids are, the lightsaber twirl was nowhere near as gay as two kids rolling on the ground with each other.

Not bad but I found a lightsaber duel that pwns even this one. You've probably heard of it - Crew of 2 or Duality. That is the best lightsaber duel ever and makes Lucas look like a hack big time The makers of it were actually hired by Lucas so I heard:

I like the original dual viseo that i posted better,Yes that one has a more star warsy things in it,but as far as the choreography all i see is a bunch of twirling and not much substance.The highschool kids get my vote.

A bunch of twirling? I think there was tremendous skill there those guys seem to be trained martial artists - more solid punches and kicks for a start. And the end of the duel before they kill each other...
The nerdsaber duel was very skillful though. The guy in blue got hired by Lucas apparantly

Looked a bit wooden... Movements are a bit awkward, not very athletic. I liked the kids better, a much more lively fight.

But this one looks nice.

Pfff.. I didn't wait for the ending in this teen movie. I saw an ugly gay kid walk up and a flashy name come by and I closed the browser. I think I already saw it anyway and it is f*cking stupid.

This fight got borigng, I personally think that the obi vs anakin looked alot better in the begining.

Lucas tried to get to theatrical.

Obi v Ani in ROTS, to me, was more concerned with style more than substance... anakin is supposed to hate obi wan with every inch of his being, but he doesnt seem to display any feeling of the sort till the very end of the battle...

and the fight had too much 'hold the saber at head height, then swing down to the right, then down to the left, then down to the right, then down to the left' and so on...

at least imo...

Anakin doesn't REALLY REALLY REALLY hate Obi-Wan until he's a crispy piece of Sith bacon...

In any case, all the movie duels beat the pants off of these duels, as exciting and amusing as they are to watch.

Yeah your probably right if your talking about Ani vs. Kenobi but look out as there is a sequal of that kids duel coming out early next year, both of them older and stating that this new one will be better than the previous in every way. You should download the kid's duel in high quality and its a masterpiece to watch!

PLus it's a fan film, not a full fledged Star Wars film

Bad acting, bad lighting, overplayed special effects and terrible jokes.
When they are played straight most of them are unintentionaly hilarious and when they are played for laughs they are mostly cringeworthy.......and some of the fans who make em scare me.
They kind of make you feel bad for being a SW fan.

Really? I don't mind all that campiness at all. I'm always amused that fans take all that trouble to MAKE a fan film... of course, not all of it is very good... but why should. I bet they had fun making it though.

To be honest, Lucas makes mistakes in his films that first year film students would be made to re-shoot. His ideas were all stolen from other films and mythologies, the only creative thing he did was re-organize them and give them a different name.
On another forum, I've seen a comment that Ryan now works for LFL. I don't know if that's true, but if it is, then good for him, give him 5-10 years, he could well be a 'household name' filmmaker.
