Did anyone else pick up the first issue? I thought it was pretty good, and I really liked the art. Also, does anyone know how strong Captain Comet is? I don't know if i've ever read anything with him in it.

i thought it was well written and fairly enjoyable, but i dont know the stats on CC

Read it and enjoyed it, but never read his old apperances.

Good first issue and The Weird back up was cool too.

But- one of my friends asked me to describe the issue to them, and I was at a loss for words.

the weird? the same old bernie wrightson character? i always though that ltd series was pretty cool.

When did The Weird first appear? I'd never heard of him until now.

hmm, mid-to-late 80s . . .? maybe? can't remember exactly when the mini came out. but i liked it.

Is this a stand alone mini series? I D-loaded the first issue thinking it had something to do with 52 but it doesnt.

I think it's stand alone, but I could be mistaken.

Does anyone have any background info on the talking dog, the yellow chick or Prime-7?
