I searched and didn't find a thread

I'm just wondering b/c I saw Deliverance today and couldn't decide if it was more drama/thriller or horror. I mean the story is about a weekend that goes horribly wrong but there is no real "horror" element IMO unless you count the wierd mountain people.

Just wondering everyone's thoughts on the movie.

A classic film that hasn't aged.
I would consider it a drama/adventure/suspense thriller, instead of horror.

Agree with you about the film, even though it was made in the 70's I think, it was still a great film.

Hmm, your best bet would probably be the movie discussion forum. *shrugs*

getting pounded up the ass by sexually frustrated/ confussed Hicks is pretty horrific.... just not the same type "Horror" as say The Texas Chainsaw massacre....
