There was a programme on TV last night which had a run down of the top 40 blockbusters as chosen by the great British public
SW came third,Gladiator(tsk)second and that movie where everybody walks that shall remain nameless came 1st!

Just check that top 40....

No Raiders? Star Wars was the movie that INVENTED the phrase "Blockbuster" and for this reason alone should have been number 1! I didn't see too many blocks being "Busted" when LOTR was being shown. Ask yourself this, When was the last time you saw a queue stretching outside your local cinema/multiplex for a movie that wasn't a Star Wars one?

no, in that case, based on inflation, Gone with the wind would be 1, Star wars be 2, Titanic, 3...and so...and the fact that Citizen Kane isnt on there is ridiculous
