So far I'm listening to Slipknot's demo, M.F.K.R, and the music is great, but the vocals are really.....trying? I'm really glad they ended up getting Corey Taylor. I don't know their first vocalist's name, but its a cliche voice, if you know what I mean.
The background music overall is amazing though

I LOVE SLIPKNOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Corey is one of my favourite vocalists, he's got a decent range and a hell of alota passion about what he does

I don't like Slipknot.

MFKR was okay, but Slipknot really fine tuned their skills with their debut album.
Alpha Centauri
The best thing Slipknot ever did was work with Rick Rubin.

The production value on that album is grabage (sic), IMO. I appreciate the more art/less gimmick "Vermillion" era Slipknot.

they have no doubt improved with age, but its arguable really, i love everything they've done.
