it seems internet sock trolling has become so popular that aids to politicians have actually taken to trolling blogs of their partisan opposite.
here is the story of an aid to charles bass, republican from NH, who broke campaign rules by using a government computer to pose as a supporter of his democrat opposition while always slipping in endorsements for his superior.
bass' office has admitted that this has been found to be true (like they had a choice, given that the i.p. could be clearly traced directly to the house of representatives...and that the culprit will be disciplined.
