A couple of things bothered me, but overall it was a great issue. Quicksilver was freaking awesome.

And that last page. Even though i knew Thor was coming, i cheered when i saw him.

This issue was f*ing great. Thanks L.L for posting it. Cap is such a badass in the Ultimate Universe.

wow quick silver moving so fast that he had a full conversation, and landed mad blows on that chick b4 hawkeye even hit the ground...Hulk is boss and being is usual self...Pym being so pathetic that even his own creations are second guessing him. hopefully they wont by into his bullshit..if anything at least it shows that his genius is up there with the likes of stark, reed and banner cuz those ultron robots A.I. were thoroughly off the hook

Kind of a lot of nothing in this issue for me. Quicksilver finally had a great showing, Iron Man 6=disapointing, The Liberators went down too easily, Wasp=wtf unecessary, action was good, but not good enough to have waiten three months for.

Meh.

Bah, Astonishing is awesome, but im still SO CONFUSED on the cassandra nova stuff

Nice ish. Thanks for the scans. The long wait kinda dulled the excitement for though. That and nothing really took me by surprise here. Loki turns out to be real, saw it coming. Cap killing his counterpart, saw it too. Only thing that really got me was Iron Man 6, and that got me cause it was dissapointing to me. Oh, and yet another thrash to Hank's character. I pray to God that Millar ends up revealing that Hank was actually infiltrating the Liberators, if not then I'll be convinced Marvel has something against the Pym particles users

it's not marvel just millar and his giant killing fetish.

he doesn't seem to like size changers.

Yeah, the issue was predictable. But it was just a big fight issue, and those tend to be predictable most of the time.

I'm hoping the next issue makes up for it.

This Thor return completely blows away the faux return in Civil War IMO.

Meh, even though Thor in Civil War was solicited this felt more expected. In Civil War Thor showed up, but on Tony's side which no one expected. Not to mention McNiven's Thor was frickin sweet. Also I felt Thor had more of an impact in CW than in Ultimates. All just my opinion of course

Great issue. Quicksilver is officially one of the most badass Ultimate characters. Along with Hulk, and Cap, of course.

I meant it terms of appearance only, not counting Thor killing Goliath or anything from CW4. When Thor came down just his appearance was awesome. Wondering why the hell is he Codename lightning and why is he not with Cap. When Ultimate Thor showed up it was like 'sweet' but expected cause the Thor/Loki throwdown has been long coming. This isn't any attempt to downplay Ult. Thor's arrival cause I am looking forward to nice fight next issue 6 months from now (see what I did there, its funny cause its late ). Just saying that Thor in CW was imo more impressive and awe inspiring. Definitely got me to say "WTF!!!!?"

Oh, ok. Gotta give Ult Thor props. And I am having a hard time picturing Ultimates without Hitch (or Millar, can't forget him). I'm looking forward to vol 3 but it won't be the same. Which is why I'm hoping Loeb and Mad don't even try to top Millar and Hitch. Just try to tell good stories with some interesting characters

micromax is only gravely injured he's not dead..i swear i tought that iron man 6 was gonna be some kick ass armor no one has ever seen b4 that was gonna knock my socks off. but meh..it took up so much space that i could barely make out what was going on, i didnt have a prob with janet..but if this wolrd is fair hank pym will get his face kicked in by cap again mr. oh i was just infiltrating..i am anxious to see if his ultron bots are gonna turn out to be the same old would be world conqureing android tho

i thought it was a regular human sized armor that was so secretive, and so advanced that he wanted to keep away from the prying eyes of the govt. seeing as how he's their biggest lap dog. i even half envisioned him getting chewed out by fury as to why he waould keep such a dangerous device a secret, cuz i remember in ultimate secret he mentioned that he was so dying ro reverse engineer cap. marvel's armor, i thought it would be somthing along those lines. but meh, iron man 6 i could take it leave it

I loved the issue. I bought it today and I thought it was great. Some good action scenes. Especially when we were treated to the double page spread of some of the other ultimate teams/heroes taking down the enemy.

My only criticism was that it could have gone into more detail when Captain Britain and the European task force freed the trapped heroes

Other than that, it was a great issue. 9/10

Ultimate Hulk is one of the most bada$$ characters of all time...he punked the hell outta Abomination. I guess there wont be a rematch. Thanks alot Lucid Lui for posting this...its one of the best comics I have ever read.

Yeah most ult. characters die before they get a 2nd chance unless they are very important, like Dr. Doom or Magneto

They did originally kill Magneto though, I don't think they planned to have him come back originally. I do want to see Ult. Hulk and Ult. Thing duke it out though....or Ult. Hulk vs Ult. Juggernaut (the new & improved one).

After watching Ult. Abomination get his ass handed to him (or should I say arms?) I don't think Ult. Thing has a chance against Ult. Hulk.
