Takion vs. Ion2
I know this seems like a curb stomp, but let's remember that all Oan energy is a part of the limitless energy that is the source. High Father says that Takion is the source and the source is takion. Takion is so powerful, that he can tap the Oan energy, quantum fields, and Speed force all at the same time. So for this scenario, High Father has once again taken over Josh Sanders Takion body to battle ION2. WHo wins?
That's bullcrap since there's no proof at the moment and there's a lot he need to live up to(from classic ion comparison) for him to be considered as such.
He does however have one impressive feat lately which was the shunting Nero's rigged bomb explosion to a pocket universe.
I'd go for Kyle myself though as i find him more battle effective than takion.
well ever since jade died and not only gave back the powers he gave her but also her connection to the starheart...the guardians have been going on about if it is wise to let him weild power that no gl b4 him ever has.. also remember that the guardians created the starheart to contain all the wild magic in the universe, and tho Alan's kid's got powers becuase of his exposure only he and jade, had a direct line to it, Obsidian's power came from a shadow realm. that means that it was a whole universe worth of wild magic that only two ppl had access to, and since jade gave up her essence to kyle he now has that special affinty to the starheart to access its energies, thats why he ended up on mogo bcuz both the starheart and the Oan energies were fighting for the same space, and he had trouble reconciling both, and thats also why they've been drolling on about how he's more than he's ever been and he's thier torch bearer.

First off the link doesn't work. The address is wrong.
He doesn't have the entirety of the starheart AFAIK if that's what your implying. Alan still has it. He only got the portion Jade inherited from his father. And Obsidians power couldn't be more different than her sister.
The spark being with him is a special circumstance that doesn't have any relevance to his power level.
And of course the guardians said that about his power. Do any existing GL had access to the entire oan battery as he had back in the days he was Ion? Do any existing GL still has access to more power than the GL ring? of course not, hence the statement.
He only has access to portion of the oan battery and a portion of the starheart and he's suddenly more than classic Ion level now?
But forget all that, and let's concentrate on on-panel feats. What exactly has he done lately to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt he is even nearing classic Ion level. Until he has, the same treatment that Sentry and other so "most powerful than character x" have been receiving should also apply.

If you have read Green Lantern 148 then you should know that Jade has lost her Starheart powers and Ion gave it back to her he even gave boost to Jane's powers

if this doesnt work jugg6666 has made a nice respect thread for Ion in the comic forum...however, i never said he contains the entirety of the start heart...just Jade's portion and access to to it, and as for his spark, thats no special circumstance, as jugg mentioned Ion1 had to forefeit his energies to resurrect the Guardians...
its just like quasar and his quantum bands..he doesnt contain the quantum zone inside him but he has access to its unlimted energies...its the same with genis and the nega bands...so tho he was transmuted by the starheart he is not carrying it around with him, he just can tap into it, and since its only him and alan scott that can do it, its quite an inexhaustible amount of energy...so unlike when he had all the Oan energy now he has two awesome power sources and a portion of all the Guardian's life forces ....ergo more powerful than he's ever been
