Prime is extreme in this day and age, but not to the height of the PC era.

Umm, yeah. Superboy Prime is not as powerful as the real PC Superboy who admitted several times Mon-El was his superior. Not to mention SBP sucks at fighting. If Bart Allen could make him bleed, Mon-El will cave his head in with one shot.

Mon-el was the strongest member of the LSH which included Superboy. Besides, Mon-el has actual training to use his powers.
