Movies are more real than life and I won't explain the reason because you're not ready. They could not continue from S2 because it is a different person, time, and technology. They only borrowed the story...100% S1 & 50% S2...so they can make the right S2 this time as a real sequel. Not the compilation 1-2 1978-1980.
