a lot has changed about sabretooth since that fight, since he was "the slasher"-

sabretooth became a mutant with a healing factor and super strengh
sabretooth has had THREE strength upgrades since becoming a mutant
sabretooth has had his healing factor upgraded since then
sabretooth has had even MORE weapon x training since then
sabretooth has had an admantium skeleton put into his body since then..

it won't be more of the same at all considering sabretooth isn't even CLOSE to being the same as he was when they fought before.

Still if this is current sabes, he loses, he dosent have his adamntium anymore

the thing is, sabretooth's strength (pre-upgrades) was enough to allow him to compete with ms. marvel in a SLUGFEST.... do you think luke cage could compete with her in a slug fest?

sabretooth turned wendigo into a fur coat.... luke cage couldn't even last 3 panals with wrecker....:/

sabretooth's a superb fighter by wolverine's own admission.... superb... wolverine's the same guy who trounced kun lun, a man who dropped luke cage in 2 hits.. no joke..

sure he may not LET sabretooth swipe away, but that's exactly what sabes is going to do anway ause there's not much luke can do to stop him..

weapon x put it back into sabretooth's body as of wolverine 164, this was later built upon in the weapon x series as well....

sabretooth had it in weapon x, he wasn't drawn to look like he did..

he had it in wolverine 126 he wasn't drawn to look like he did
he had it in wolverine 145 hw wasn't drawn to look like he did.. unless there's solid prove to state that he doesn't you cant' just ASSUME he doesn't...

cage is stronger but creed's got more skill a healing factor and his addy bones which can cut him....
