Anyone else read it?


nothing much happened....

thing gets hurt......reed does some N zone experiment to try and fix the chipped thing......issue ends with the squadron ripping off the roof of the baxter building.


the art was pretty bad.(at least to me) Never been a fan of lands traced photoshopped art.
and this issue was pretty much filled with I've come to expect from him.

I haven't read it, but I think Land's art is amazing. I can't see how it could be bad.

i was underimpressed

art was ok, but im with BA, im not a huge fan of it stylistically

seemed a bit stretched thin for content though

All my freinds have been recommending this to me.

Eh, the entire issue seemed like a continuation of the Ult. FF pre-President Thor arc

Ben seemed a bit too mopey in it, I mean the whole, you'll die alone thing was a bit much

Issue 2 will have to pull the biggest PIS feat ever to allow spidey to survive....

I thought it was decent for a starter. Nothing much happened, but that's to be expected in the first issue of a nine-part miniseries.


And for the record, Land's art is amazing.

PIS - plot induced stupidity. Lamens terms, something stupid happens to allow the plot to continue. (Spider-Man defeating Firelord, Wolverine healing in minutes after being reduced to dust from Nitro, etc.)

CIS - character induced stupidity. Stupidity by the character (otherwise known as jobbing.)

i find it interesting how the writers have managed to stretch into full issues things that could be covered in pages. There is a lot of focus on flash and drama that a lot of stuff that is pretty much superfulious to the plot is diluted

however, thats just my opinion

That's why I said it's to be expected. No such thing as an 8 or 9 issue miniseries that isn't stretched out to the max.

turns out the ultimate universe is just the supreme-verse several years in the future, and during a fight, arcanna's, nuke's and hyperion's combined energies accidentally sent the whole team there....

You shouldn't even ask once. If somebody wants to post the scans, they will. If they haven't, don't go around asking again like it's your right to have scans provided to you.

It's illegal, and rightfully so. Truthfully, KMC should not allow it at all. We're not even supposed to be discussing illegal activities here, and yet look what's happened.

Count yourself lucky for the scans you have.

I asked twice so what...people post scans all the time here...and most of the time they post them because someone asked for them. I wasn't asking for them like it was my right to, I didn't ask rudely...I just wanted to know if anyone could post them. If u don't want to post any fine but u don't have to be a d!ck about it.

Perhaps if it was unjustified, it may be considered dick-ish. However, as you can see, there's a clear justification.

And it wasn't only that you asked twice, it's that you quoted yourself as if to say. "Hello. I already asked for scans once, and now you're making me ask again."

Doesn't send the best message to the reader.

i actually took a read of the preivew and it seemed awesome....it seems to be the same artist that did the ult. namor arc...which i liked....a lot

Saw the first fight. Ultimate Thing is even stronger and tougher than I thought. Hyperion gives him a wicked punch, and he shrugs it off - "I thought you had something there for a minute" - then knocks Mark flying. Thor trades some good shots with Mark later, too.
The slow speech was funny, as their bodies hasn't fully phased into a new dimension yet.

Their powers were screwed up due to the Universe jumping ... We'll see how he goes over the other issues before claiming Thing > Hyperion

Issue 3

Ok , It starts off with a re-cap of what happened in the supreme verse, apparent alien slime-creatures (reminiscent of a bodiless Man-thing) are attacking New York , the president is roused from his bed and explained to that there changing the planet to suit their needs , the president (In typical stupid fashion) somehow links it too a terrorist attack and claims that 'Hyperion's daddy is getting them back'. No one can touch these things, they seem to be out of sync with everything.

Hyperion flies through a bunch of them after he receives a message telling him that a powerful fluctuation of energy (probably what sent the aliens) came from there. Subsequently he tears out one of those tracer-balls that Reed sent through (while in great pain due to the radiation). The ball is so advanced even Nighthawk admits it'll take him months to replicate it , Squadrom Supreme decide to follow the balls signature back to Ultimate verse.

We get back to wear we left off , with everyone screaming each other is under-arrest , Fury let's them take back Reed to be tried and Fury begins a rescue attempt with the others.

Well, if Ult. Power has proven anything its that Greg Land is a tool

well i guess that shows how smart reed is, that even tho his probes were essentially cobbled together it was so advanced or ddoes bigger props go to nighthawk for being able to reverse engineert. seeing as how the supremverse is tagged as what "our" world would be if it had a few super humans in it..you look and there really isnt any fancy out of this world tech, or idiots getting caught in lab accidents, its just a reg. military doing regualr things, so kudos to nighthawk

Boom he finally gets the better of thor, and then rants at the assembled Ultimate heroes about Reed being under arrest.
He says "It was you Reed Richards" in the next panel after clearly sorting out Thor.
